Very little smell but a whole lot of visible yeast. The taste didn’t please me. Give it a try yourself, everyone has different tastes.

Cloudy pale yellow, thick fluffy white head. Mixed bag aroma, fairly well balanced. Slight tang. A little bit yeasty. Not too bad.

[small bottle from an LCBO that did not say "biologique" on it anywhere] Orange with a little brown and a foamy yellowish head that receded to a thin, lasting cover that formed nice lacing. Opaque from the yeast (my pour) with little flecks at the bottom of the glass. Orange lemon banana sweet malt--sweet and sour, but not a dry aroma. Woody, semi-dry taste with not a lot of grape flavour, but relatively vinous nonetheless. Gentle malt flavour that is accompanied by a subtle bitterness that is not hoppy. Light to medium body with high carbonation. Clean, but a bit sweet in the finish.

25 cl bottle: Exp date 09/2006-Like it’s Cousin Saison Moinette Biologique I had last night, this has the appearance of a jar of honey with a white head. Deep Golden, Orangey, cloudy. Very sweet smelling, melons and tangerines with yeast. More tangy tasting than sweet, a sweeter middle but a mettalic tinge that’s strong enough to detract from the fruit. Crisp dry finish. Not as good as the non Organic or the Moinette

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Alongside the non-organic version this wasn’t just quite as good. Nice fruity aroma with the funky Dupont yeast character. Refreshing finish, not just as hoppy, mouthfeel slightly thinner. Still bloody good, though.

Bottled. Hazy orange coloured with a solid white head. Fruity aroma with notes of spices and yeast, but not much aroma at all. Fruity flavour of malts, caramel and hops. Hoppy finish.

Hazy golden coloured, white head. Somewhat grainy and fruity aroma. Pleasant dry flavour, more bitter in the end. Nice example of the style.

caesar (4029) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JUL 23, 2005
Slightly hazy golden color, medium white head. Aroma of harsh grain, barnyard, some corn and yeast. Organic barnyard. It’s like a nice mixture of all kinds of grains. Bit sharp in palate. Very decent brew.

(Bottle 25 cl) Very hazy, actually you may call this unclear, from all the yeasty sediment. Orangey golden with a lacing, white head. Very citric and dry with a light bitter finish. A nice quencher. 030299

lots of yeast in this golden brew with a huge frothy head. Wheaty, barnyard palate hints of apple and some other acidic fruits. Tasty. I can’t wait to try the saison now.
