Clear golden with a nice big, light, white foamy head. Aroma is grass, citrus, lemon, soap, nice balance of hops and light malt. Flavour is light sweet, light bitter, again very well balanced. Really crisp texture, medium-light body, lively carbonation. Very refreshing beer.

Complexe smaak. Heerlijk.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2015 Classic organic beer from one of the pioneers of organic beers in Belgium; the organic version of what can probably be considered one of the archetypes of the saison style. On a par with the regular version, hazy peach blonde under a thick and frothy, yellowish white, very stable head; dry, complex, yeasty and estery, hay, spiciness, citrus touch, smooth graininess underneath, characterful hoppy and yeasty spicy finish, long and quenching. I’d dub this the best organic beer in the country.

25cl bottle from MOMH. Clear and bright amber, rocky white head. Slightly floral aroma, toasted wheat. Medium carbonation. Lightly sweet malt, fruitcake spice, a little bit of plum. Creamy, wheaty kind of palate, very soft. Dry finish, slight hop bite, very drinkable.

Nice wit type taste, average hoppiness and some fruitiness in the taste. Rich aroma corresponding the taste.

More like a wheat beer than a saison. Cloudy gold colour. Wheaty aroma with touch of earthy lemon. Soft on the palate with moderate carbonation. Nice balance of sweetness and bitterness bit lacking any of the sourness of a classic saison. Fresh and tasty but a little disappointing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: yeast, grain, some caramel. Appearance: hazy, pale gold, medium, creamy, white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: grains continue, refreshing bitter, soft to lively carbonation, some dryness in the finish. Overall: nice Saison, but not exceptional. Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn.

large frothy white head. excellent lacing. mostly lasting. flat thick dark orangeish-yellow body. aroma: apple, vinegar and honey in the bottle. if: light sweet acidic. ff: light sweet bitter moderate acidic; long duration. palate: light medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, chalky moderate astringent finish.
