The Belgian version of the Foret marketed in America. Brutally complex, straw, sweet and vitaminny yeast notes, grapefruit, light nuttiness, great looking and delicious. For some reason I prefer my Foret experiences but this one’s no slouch.

Golden with a long lasting trothy head. Little cloudy. Fresh aroma, apples, barnyard like a good farmhouse cider. Taste is similar, with caramel, cloves, belgian yeast. Medium sweet, not bitter but dry and crisp. Average carbonation. Very refreshing and with some belgian character. My first saison and i like it much.

0,25 l bottle from Gall & Gall Cuijk, NL, bottled on 2/3/2014. Minimally hazy, golden yellow with a huge, foamy, almost stable, white head. Pleasant, fruity taste of apricot, peach, green apples and lemon. Spicy-fruity taste of lemon, apricot, peach, pepper, straw and yeast. Short, slightly bitter and gently tart, dry finish. Medium body, creamy and fizzy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice fruity aroma but the taste is a bit empty yet still pleasant. Refreshing, but a bit disappointing.

Bottle. Very light yellow, large unstable head, vivid carbonation, large bubles. Typical belgian yeasty aroma and bitter-sweet taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

250cc bottle. Pours clear almost. Blonde with white head. It is spicy, crispy and very refreshing. Light saison. Really lovely brew. Less bitter than the normal dupont if I recall correctly.

Bottle, brought back from Brussels by Lakshmi. Light yellow golden colour, big head. Dry, crisp, spicy, gentle yeasty spice. Superbly drinkable, just really good.

Zeer troebel in het glas met bezinksel op de bodem. Zeer stevige schuimkraag. Bier is zacht maar heeft een aparte smaak.

25cl bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a hazy gold with a huge soapy white head that lingers throughout. Decent lacing. Strong barnyard aromas with pear, green apple, clove, cardamom, yeast and arugula. As it warms up the barnyard becomes more pronounced at some lemon and citrus flavors become more prevalent. Medium body with a funky and light tartness on the palate. Nice lively carbonation that lasts throughout. Great crisp and dry mildly tart finish. Excellent light saison and perfect for an early summer evening.

The original, but not the best. It had some fantastic qualities, an easy going palate, gentle spice flavours, I can see why it was chased. I really loved this to be honest, definitely session beer in quality.
