Blonde assez voilée. Grosse mousse blanche persistante.

On tap: The aroma consists of banana, Belgian yeast, pepper, light citrus, florals, and a touch of clove. It pours a mostly transparent golden-orange with just a touch of haze. It has a large white head that has good retention before eventually fading to a thick film outlined by an even thicker ring. The flavor starts with some light banana, a touch of honey, citrus, and cereal notes. There are some faint Belgian yeast notes in the background. The finish has light-moderate apple, grass, light florals, and faint pepper. It’s light bodied with somewhat lively carbonation, but it never becomes prickly. Overall, while I don’t love this beer, it is a nice beer...and probably a good reminder of what Saisons really are.

UPDATED: FEB 11, 2015 Another brilliant beer by the Brasserie Dupont. It is a wonderful beer with a brilliant champaign-like aroma and the most brilliant aroma of hops and alcohol. Has the most wonderful bitter palate.

Very light color, hazy with a white head, lasting and beautifully lacing. Aroma of light candy, light spicy esters, spicy and floral hops. Flavor is quite hoppy and fruity ballanced with the light sweetness. Quite dry but medium to full bodied. Amazing but needs a bit more hops to differentiate enough from the original.

Bottle at home. Clear golden pour, thick white head. Aroma of spicy hops, slighty fruity, floral and a bit of yeast. Flavor is quite bitter, fruity, clean and very full bodied. Great balance. Nice brew, but it differs only slightly from the original.

Hazy yellow with a TON of head. Aromas of belgian yeast, bready, etc. Flavor was much the same, classic saison, with a hop punch at the end. Very enjoyable.

375 ml bottle. Pours a hazy gold with full head. A lot going on with the aroma: honey, beeswax, citrus, melons, hops, and classic yeast. Flavors don’t carry the same weight unfortunately- a bitter variant of the standard Dupont Saison. Good - but not great.

Golden hazy beer with big fluffy white head. Aroma has citrus, pepper, slight tartness, Belgian yeast, honeyish sweetness, flowers, grass and herbs. Flavor is yeasty, pale malty, fruity and peppery. Palate is quite thick and quite soft but foamy. Finish has quite heavy and long bitterness and feel of alcohol. Aftertaste is florally fruity, grassy and herbal. Pouring in the yeast makes the beer murky and softens the bitterness on the aftertaste closer to a normal saison. Decent stuff, bridging the gap between a saison and a Czech pils.
