Mycket gott! 3,6p -6/5/2012

Golden, cloudy amber pour with a frothy white head. Good lacing. Aromas of citrus, hops, grass, nut wheat. Tangy citrus/orange peel on the palate, very crisp and refreshing. Hops, citrus, nut, hops and wheat are equally present with a slight alcohol afterheat. Saison Dupont is refreshing and another great beer from Belgium. Beware of the 6.5% as this drop goes down easily.

On draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Pours a hazy light golden colour with a thick white head. A lovely aroma of pine and grassy hops before saison yeast, lemon, white pepper, caramel, banana and cloves. Similar flavours with a bitter grassy hop finish. Moderate carbonation and a chewy mouth-feel. Alcohol is well balanced. Lovely and very drinkable.

At Copenhagen Beer Festival: Ltd.Edition 2012. A truly magnificent beer! 6,5% with a complex, long and warming (hint of pepper?) taste and aftertaste. Belgian ale with an extra dose of hops, superb.
