On tap at the Brick Store Pub. Hazy yellow pour, with a medium, creamy, white head. The aroma is hay, barnyard mustiness, pine, and some light fruitiness. Sweet and musty, with a pretty significant hop bitterness. Long, bitter aftertaste. Medium to heavy body, very astringent and velvety. Overall, this is not my favorite beer. The dry hopping added too much bitterness, which overwhelms the more subtle aspects of a good saison. Oh, well.

Draft @ Three Fires. Fruity pineapple, citrus, bready malt ,and floral white grape aroma. Hazy straw gold with a small white head. Sweet citrus, Belgian yeast, bready malt, grassy/citrusy hops flavor and white grape came out as it warmed. Light body, moderate carbonation.

Bottle. Golden-amber with a white head. Aroma is white pepper, very lightly peachy, grassy, yeast. Flavour is yeasty, lightly peppery, some fresh citrusy hop notes. Rather mild and subdued. Suits a summer night but my palate was still somersaulting over De Molen’s Vuur en Vlam which had superb heavy-hitting hop flavours.

Hazy amber, small white head. Fresh hops, yeasty and fruity aroma. Dry fresh taste, light malt and the usual yeasty peppery thingy going on. Light body, soft carbonation, dry mouth feel. Dry yeasty bitter after taste.
Perfect thirst quencher on a humid summers day.

(Backlog) Bottle of fantasy tasting at Paul’s. Golden pour with white head. Spice, yeast, light floral aromas. Flavors similar to original, with a bit more floral and spice flavors.

Draught @ ’t Antwaerps Bierhuiske. Pours hazy light amber with small white head. Clear, vinous aroma with notes of hops and yeast. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with subtle, sweetish notes of malt, fruit and yeast and some spicy touches to it. Rather short-lived, bitter aftertaste with some acetic notes. Decent but not mind-blowing.

Bottle, 37.5cL. @Festival_de_Namur. An orange to yellow opaque beer. Huge creamy white head. Good persistence. Fruity aroma (lemon), herbs. Medium to heavy dry bitter. Medium body, medium texture, fizzy carbonation, long dry bitter finish. Overall, a very dry bitter beer, a bit unbalanced for me. Nice fruity/herbal aroma.
