2013 bottle, corked and caged. Pours bright golden, hazy with a pillowy white head. Nose is bright and grassy hops, saison yeast, floral notes, bread, and a hint of the barnyard. Bit of pepper. Taste is bright, zesty, and slightly peppery at the end. Dry and refreshing and I can’t freaking get enough.

Pours a cloudy deep gold with very big white head. Fresh, citrusy aroma with yeasty scents, a hint of nettles and herbs, a touch of bananas and fresh hoppy fragrance. Medium bodied palate, not much bitterness, good freshness again, medium finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I must recognize that I’m an absolute fan of Dupont, specially of its saison, surely the best example of the style worldwide. This cuvee is drier than the original, but equally balanced, elegant, complex, rustic and refreshing. Long and subtle development, with a dry finish. Very great beer, perfect for summertime. As usual in Dupont...

Bitter and zesty, an easy drinkable saison. It’s more hoppy than a standard saison, not very special, but good balanced.

375 cl 2014 corked ; I would like to dedicate this rating to the recent ’Saison Dupont’ thread with its bickering offered that inspired me to buy this .. its a shame this is not from a 750ml but I could only locate a smaller bottle ... The nose is the customary rustic , hay ,grass, little dirt and funk , esters suggested are banana , green apple ,little peach , bugglegum , peppery spice. its a classic fucken nose ; In a Chimay goblet it is a dirty blond that gives good head .. Spicy , dry , tart and estery textures on the old palate ..a pretty beefy body ,firm . I dunno , I like it , it tastes quintessential . not as awesome as the regular Saison Dupont for my money though $£

Tried in bottle. Bought in Austria at Tribaun. Colour is hazy yellow/orange. Aroma is yeast, tropical fruits, mango and grapefruit. Taste is spice, mango, grapefruits and citrus. Slight sour apple and banana after taste. Very fizzy and smooth mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

37,5cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian - thanks a lot! Yeasty and fruity with notes of citrus, spices and hints of herbs and barnyard. Moderate sweet with nice season flavours, some acidity and a fairly light bitterness. Tasty and refreshing saison, but not very hoppy.

On bottle from Drankencentrale du Hopduvel, Gent. Golden color, good foam and highly carbonated. Medium aroma and intensity; floral, fruity, light stable aromas and some hops. Medium body & complexity. Good bitterness & balance. Very enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour a pale orange, with a Big ol’ fluffy white head. Aroma of grass, slight lemon, slight white peber, slight lime zest, some slight doughy notes, with hints of some fat cheese. Pretty darn refreshing, with the Classic saison notes, with some nice dry hoppyness to it. Taste has some faint sweetness up front, with a heavy dose of bitterness and subtle sour notes. Medium bodied, with a really fizzy carbonation. Hot stuff on a warm summer day.

couleur dorée, trouble; mousse blanche assez abondatne; arômes fruités; goût malté, houblonné et de levure; assez douce; finale moyennement amère et sèche
