Can’t really notice the difference between this and the regular Saison Dupont, lovely citrus yeasty barnyard with lively bretty tones very smooth and grassy. Great.

2013.04.27 zythos bierfestival - golden blond colour, white frothy head - nose : flowers and some citrus - mouth : quite dry, moderate bitterness.

ZBF Festival 2013 - Aroma has some pale malts and is also a bit soapy. Body is quite thin and carbonation quite high. Lightly hoppy flavour. It’s not over the top but doesn’t meet the standard of the original version.

I was expecting more from this beer, cause in general I like Dupont beers.
But the beer is medium. Nothing special and for sure nothing super hoppy.

Sweet and sour with a dry hop finish and some caramel. However still watery at the end.

1.5L magnum, sent from Glougluburp (thanks a lot, Dany), pours a cloudy golden with a big foamy white head. Aroma of loads of rustic qualities, subtle dry hops, and Belgian yeast – just like the regular, maybe a bit hoppier. Flavour is a little rustic, very juicy, a bit fruity, with a little citrus and banana, and Belgian yeast. Highly drinkable and a lot juicier than the classic Saison Dupont. I perhaps slightly prefer the rustic feeling of the classic, though this is still an excellent version. Recommended if you get the chance.

Pours darker than the regular. Less refreshing and more bitter. Still a nice beer though.
