Bottle yields a clear light golden pour, with a meringue white billowing head that fades rather quickly to a soapy cap. Aroma on this beer is simply sublime- Light notes of fresh ground black pepper, a huge white fruit character, ranging from pear, to peach, to apricot. Floral, as in bee pollen floral goodness. Light apple notes, clean mineral/wet rock. Evocative of a stream through farm country. Every time I stick my nose in this I catch something different...Beautiful. Taste doesn’t quite live up to that hype, but after that, I don’t expect it to. Similar white fruit notes, pepper and floral character fade to the back more. Grape skins (Tannin?), some bitterness. Finish is drying, almost astringent, and what I imagine is the dry hopping makes itself a bit more known as more floral and spicy character is present on the finish. Light carbonation. I enjoy beers that remind me of places and bring me there... As a result, I really, really enjoy this thing, but a not so dry finish would elevate it in my mind considerably.

Pour out of 750 mL bottle, hazy orange yellow pour with lasting white head, aroma brought notes of nice cracker, biscuit, bread, hints of grass, nice hallertau notes, touch of oak, vanilla, hints of bread, touch of pine. Taste is a nice mix of hallertau, slight grass, pine, hints of oak, bread, slight vanilla, cracker, finishing dry, biscuity, spicy. This is well done.

750s from Capone’s, Craft Ale, and draft at Craft. Pours turbid dark straw golden with 2-finger fluffy white head and a champagny carbonation. Nose is a complex mix of hoppy citrus, spicy white peppery florals, and yeasty funky esters. Tastes very complex, with hopcitrus, funky yeasty apricotty fruit at mid-palate, but not sweet, and a finish of funky spicy mats and esters. This one is great.

Tastefully controlled complexities form inspiring residuals, an excellent saison

A hazed sunshiny amber body supports a delicate frothy 3’’ white head falling to a lasting ring and receding perforated cap with a few spots and rounded peninsulas of lace
-
Pleasantly balanced notes of grass, flowers, pineapple, and orange orbiting white pepper and slightly damp hay on a medium light body with enough carbonation to create a light and playful experience while also allowing for a soft coating to persist, soft bitterness and faint tartness dry the palate and amplify echoing aromas and flavors which merge into honey drizzled pear and apple, pome fruit notes grow exponentially with warmth overtaking the citrus influence, with a faint dusty funk presenting itself as each glass empties

A golden colored beer, with a good firm white head. It is a full bodied beer of only 6,5 percent, very well done. The taste id simular of that of the regular saison. It is good carbonated beer, strong bitter taste, citrus, sour, and softness of grains. A very nice version of the classic saison Dupont. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap. Hibiscus. Too much perfume for my liking. Some pineapple. Some flowers and perfume soaps. Not what I was expecting. Hard to fine Saison DuPont yeast. Disappointing.

Appearance: slightly cloudy, orangey gold, with a thick creamy-fluffy white froth of a head; decent soapy lacing. Aroma: very floral and spicy, with strong but pleasant vegetal notes over a honey-and-crackers malt base and the traditional Dupont musty funk. Taste: flowery and sweet up front, as the amped up fragrance is rather assertive at first; this quickly gives way to the traditional crusty white bread, citrus, yeast, and funk flavors you’d expect. Finish: a little dry, with just a hint of floral and citrus bitterness. Notes: Outstanding. The dry hopping took the already-great aroma and kicked it up a notch, while also drying out the end of the beer. Even so, all those great traditional Saison Dupont notes were right there as expected. The hopping certainly enhanced this beer. What a great find.

Bottle in Eagle with friends and family. Pour is a beautiful, glowing golden color with a frothy white head and great lacing. Aroma is fresh cut grass - though not super hoppy/resinous - musty, yeasty, doughy, a touch of pepper, coriander, somewhat floral, and honeycomb. Taste is spritzy, tangy, bright citrusy, honey, grassy, white pepper, coriander, doughy, and herbs with a lightly spicy finish. Light body with high carbonation ending with crisp dryness. Really nice stuff.
