On tap at Blue Monk in Buffalo, NY - 2013 version. Smooth, dry, slightly hoppy. Sweeter and less peppery than I was expecting. Not much in the way of carbonation.

Hella good! Hazy orangish pour, nice big fluffy white head. Flavors of yeast, stone fruit, honey, wheat, and finishes with just a perfect touch of bitterness. Hell yes.

Draft at craft ale house. Pours clear yellow with a huge white head. The aroma has a lot of lemon, coriander, peppercorn. The taste is dry, lemon, similar to the base beer with a little more hop bitterness on the finish.

2013 Bottle. Pale cloudy with a ton of bright white head. Just a slight detection of dry hopping for me - still a great saison though

Excellent beer. Pours a hazy orange with a big fluffy white head. The aroma has flowers, fruit, very summery. The flavor has the fruit and a bit of sweetness but is well balanced with peppery hops. Finishes dry and clean. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Gold pour, white head, excellent retention/lace. Aroma of bubblegum, fruity ester, citrus/floral hops, lemon zest, grain. Taste is bitter, floral/citrus hop, spicy yeast, lemon peel. Palate is average carbonation, a bit oily, bitter finish. More IPA than saison.

Draft. Poured a hazy orange yellow color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate earthy hop, citrus and yeast aroma. Medium to abundant body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. I would recommend this to a friend.

2013 release.
Appearance: The body is golden in color with a mild haze, the head is tall with decent retention, the color white.
Aroma: The aroma is floral and spicy with light malts and light strawberry and even bubblegum notes.
Taste: Light fruity notes and bubblegum hints hit the palate first as the strawberry gets a bit heavier by the mid-taste where it’s complimented nicely with a light spice and mild malts. The finish has a touch of bitterness and a perfume quality to it. Very nice.
Palate: The body is soft with a light leaning thickness.
Overall: This is a great saison, I wish it were a bit more bold but I suppose balance is the name of the game here. Well done.
