Pours an orange-golden hazy color, with a stable, froth head. Aromas form a wild melange of slightly musty yeast upfront, containing notes of funk and spices, against grassy, herbal fresh hops. In comparison, hops seem to be a little less intense than the yeast, and therefore underline the typical Dupont qualities in a very interesting way. Hops turn more complex, as the beer warms up, revealing a fruity kiwi note, which has a gentle, refeshing sting to it, among herbs, primarily defined by turnip cabbage and onion. Hop character from the aromas converts into taste, with a hint of fruitiness added, mostly papaya and lime. They are present on the palate from the very beginning, starting with herbal qualities, balanced by very soft white-bread yeast, guided by a fitting, slightly metallic carbonation. Hops are by no means as present or aggressive as they tend to be in IPAs, because in this brew they get bedded among a distinctive yeast foundation. While loosing some of its uncompromising bitter-punch, they interact very well with the dough, slightly spiced yeast, creating an enjoyable complexity. This is still without a doubt a Dupont beer, but the dry-hopping is throughout convincing, herbs and grass along tropical notes add a new dimension to the beer, which is outstanding on its own already. The medium hop bitterness adds to the taste from the beginning till the end, while it finds a worthy counterpart in the peppery yeast spiciness. The taste finds its peak, when cinnamonic clove and raw onion blend together wrapped up by garden herbs and bready malts. Finishes slightly metallic, due to the lively carbonation which seems to swallow all other tastes for a split-second, then sweeter, biscuity malts become noteable, accompanied by tropical fruits. Very refreshing, with the typical Dupont mouthfeel, defined by an incredible smoothness and drinking beyond thirst.

W aromacie winogrona, przyprawowy chmiel, lekka dzikość, miód (edycja 2012, więc już lekkie utlenienie). W smaku winogrona wraz z pestkami, lekko cytrynowo kwaskowe, gładkie, goryczka niska, ziołowa, chlebowa nuta od słodu, orzeźwiające, niezłe piwo.

Big thanks to Hrabren for letting me try some of this! Poured a misty golden body with a lasting, thick off white head. Full grainy aroma with tart grassy notes, slightly sweetish. Grainy taste, crackers, more grassy hoppiness, not that funky really. Mild bitter aftertaste. A good beer indeed, but don’t expect tons of complexity.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a white head. Taste grassy, sweet, Belgian yeast. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour is a darker amber, completely hazed, with tons of tight white head. Nose is heavily sulfuric, a fair bit of pale malt and decent grain presence with a bit of doughiness behind. Peppery with a little soapy hops and grassy notes. Taste is a bit grassier, grain and malt is much more subdued but also far less sulfuric. Flavor is pale malt, cleaner grain, juicy fruit esters. Sulfuric notes mid to rear palate, faint pepper, grassy hops. Quite a dry finish, high carb, lighter body.

v2014. 37.5cl corked bottle. Hazy orangish yellow colour with a fluffy white head with nice retention. Yeast, malts and grassy hops in the aroma. Average carbonation and medium to light body. Taste is medium bitter and light sweet with a long dry finish. Overall, a nice brew but misses flavour.

Draft, served in a tulip. Hazy, deep gold pour. No real head. Stubbs of courts, fresh cut grass, orange zest, light yeasty esters. Taste is lightly tart, bright floral notes, orange peel, pepper, white bread, juice. Lightly dry, grass finish. Refreshing. Super easy drinking.

Bottle: 2014 Edition. Extremely hazy, muddled vibrant orange & burnt gold with a creamy, lathery white head that lasts for an eternity. Aroma full of bready yeast, fresh grass, a good amount of lemon & citrus spritz, mild grain, some faint coriander & Belgian yeast esters, & a nice earthiness from the dry hopping. Yeast is even more heavy in the flavor. Slightly gummy, clove-like, & with a touch of perfumy banana. The yeast is cut with a leafy & earthy bitterness from the hops. Mineral with a touch of bread, spice, faint citrus, & grass in the finish. Snappy, zesty mouth feel, crisp & light. The hopping is an interesting addition, although I think I prefer the softer sweetness of the original.

11-Sep-2014. 33cl on tap @ Csak a Jó Sör, Budapest. Hazy orange body, extra large rocky and creamy white mostly lasting excellent lacing head. Nose is caramel, banana and belgian yeast, Aroma apple, later hoppy. Taste medium sweetness, light bitterness, medium fruity sourness. Medium body, creamy texture, soft to flat carbonation, average lasting sweetish sour finish. Refreshing, bit too sour for me, but nice one.
