Bottle 375 ml. Pours blond with thick foamy white head. Aroma: saison yeast, hops, malt, floral notes. Taste is on par. Refreshing, drinkable and just enough bitterness.

2014 bottle (with Challenger), green-glassed 750mL, corked and caged, stamped L14031A. Nose is bright and lightly tart, wonderfully lively and zesty, floral and spritely. Citrus, light pepper, lightly herbal, but very colorful. Pours clear, bright golden with a short but dense white head and plenty of carbonation, lace. Light body but not watery, soft with a soft bitterness and only lightly crisp, picking up some green and vegetal notes, but those are rounded and smooth. Light warming in the chest but otherwise no alcohol, touch of a dusty coating, mostly dry and very digestible, ultra-classy. Clean, lightly earthy, heavy straw, heavy fresh hay, citrus, faint grain, faint wood, chamomile, touch spice/pepper. I suppose at this point I’m past that point of a big jolt of fresh dry hop character, but it still tastes as wonderful as ever. Delicate and a little shy but incredibly refreshing; about the softest, most delicate thing I’ve had in years, but that aftertaste is bone dry. [2015.03.27: 4.4]

Keg @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury [280115]
Blonde, hazy, frothy white head
Aroma of citrus zest, soft saison yeast, lemon, apricot, fruity yeast
Taste - Sharp citrus zest, soft yeast, nice fruits, less peppery and more fruity than the standard Saison Dupont. I prefer this more.
Palate - Medium carb, medium light body, nice soft bitter, easy for the abv.
Overall - Very fresh. Quaffable. Great to see quality beer like this in Shrewsbury.

Pours a hazy gold with a full ever so slightly off white head that lasts. The nose is faint. The body is slightly fuller than the regular saison. The basic Dupont taste is there enhanced by the hops (Challenger) added bitterness. The yeast residue was brown differing from the regular Dupont that is lighter. 750 oz champagne bottle Vintage 2014
