Ungstrup (29018) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 11, 2011
Draft. An unclear dark golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of hops, spices, yeast, malt, lemon, and black pepper. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of fruits among thhem lemons from the hops, and spices and lemon from the yeast - all of it on a malty background, leading to a dry and spicy finish. Very refreshing.

Handbottled (thanks Kike!). Slightly hazy orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, earthy, mildly barnyardy and quite spicy. Flavour is otherwise the same, but also has a bunch of tropical fruity juice like notes and some herbs. Aftertaste is fruity, spicy and yeasty.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Hay golden, small head. Pleasant and evident hay aroma. Dry and elegant, soft and fresh with medium body. Hay-like hops match marzipan-like yeast character superbly. Balanced bitterness. Beer of the festival!

2012-11-06, draught at La Fine Mousse, Paris, 8-5-6-2-13=34
Cloudy golden color, creamy head. The aroma is delicate, very nice, spicy. Dry mouthfeel, lean, astringent, soapy, with some chemicals, not stylish; the ending bitterness is somehow disturbing. Controversial.

2011-05-13, draught at Ørsted, Copenhagen, 7-3-6-2-12=30
Cloudy blond color; small head. The aroma is quite true Belgian, the body is lean, unfortunately the flavor tends to give some plastic; correct bitterness; refreshing, but the final is dry and a bit dull. Mixed feelings.
