UPDATED: OCT 15, 2013 draft@Chez Moeder Lambic: very hazy, misty yellow with a white head, very different from the normal version, previous flavours have been partially erased by the dry hops, very bold hop flavour, lemon zest, citrus, pepper, spices, something field-like, bitter & dry ///// Tried again on draft this one, not so fresh as the first time around & it is a lot lovelier now, pretty similar to the regular one but with more pronounced fruit notes, tangerine, mandarin, citrus, hops are faints, lovely, fresh 3.6 with some proper age 4.7

Bottle from Save On. Is it possible to improve on damn near the best beer in the world? Probably not. But at least this one does justice to the original. Looks just like it. Slightly more aromatic with citrus and grassy hops. Same very subdued apricot/pineapple sweetness with slightly complex very dry bitter finish. Perfect palate, just like the original. Have to say, if I were blind folded I might be hard pressed to tell the difference. And since this one costs the same as the other, that’ fine with me. An absolute work of art. Bravo.

If you like regular DuPont and if you like dry hopped beers then you will love this. The dry hopping creates a more intense aroma and adds complexity to the palate.

limitd edition of the saison dupont, the result is amazing very soft beer, difference of the normal saison dupont, the hop results in a very soft bitterness , a new beer of brewery dupont to be proud on it

the 2013 version better than the 2012. Fruity aroma’s. Fresh... A little less "hoppy" than the standard saison dupont. Superb

That Dupont appearance that you all know and love (perfect).
Every bit as lip-smackingly delicious as the regular saison, with a fruitier, less herbal hoppiness. Big, fruity and lightly sweet in the mouth. All-around amazing, certainly can’t score it worse than the regular. I’d even say that depending on the mood I’m in, I’d prefer this over the regular. The hops make it feel less dry on the palate, almost like a Belgian IPA, which I would think is appropriate, since this is trying to highlight the hops. Great stuff, glad I found it.

2013 bottle. cloudy gold with a very large, loud, fizzy white head. highly effervescent. tropical fruit, vanilla, white cake, hints of lemon aroma. yeasty, citrusy, cake, grassy hop finish. light body, high carbonation. similar to the regular with bit more grassy hop notes.
