Bottle conditioned.
Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

It’s fine, decent, not a bad beer. It does not deserve the high accolades. It’s better than all the mass-produced swill. That doesn’t make it a great beer.

Hazy straw color pours a foamy head leaving signature lacing on my Chimay glass notes of musk funk barnyard hay grass coriander nutmeg clove orange peel lemon among others. A wonderful farmhouse ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

75cl bottle, BBE 03/2015. Poured hazy orange, creamy lasting white head. Aroma has wheat, light spicyness, yeast, exotic fruitiness. Flavor is fruity, banana, light sourness, dry hoppy, spices. Long lasting fruity finish. Very tasty, complex brew, very refreshing.

A - Hazy golden with a big beautiful billowy head that stuck around the entire time and left a nice lacing. S - Yeast, lemon, apples, white pepper and a bit of hops T - Nice balance between the yeast, lemon peel/rind, and hops. Little bit of peppery kick and a dry hop finish. D&M - Dry light bodied and very refreshing. While it made me very gassy, I could drink it all day.

At Eb’s I’m surprised I haven’t rated this before. Pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a bubbly white head with moderate retention. Smells of earthy spicy and funky; lemony and fruity with a carbonic acid thing going on. The flavor is complex with pepper and earth and tart lemony fruit and light sweet non descript fruit. Medium to light body with spirited level of carbonation and a bubbly mouthfeel. Nice light refreshing fruity and tart ale.

750 ml bottle. Pours a murky yellow with medium head and lots of carbonation. Aromas of yeast, bananas, and a bit of cloves. Crisp, fruity taste with flavors of light malts, white pepper, and yeast with a hint of citrus. Dry light bitter finish.

Pours golden with a very soft pillowly thick head, carbonation is quite soft but persistant, as the bottle empties the beer becomes increasingly hazy. The aroma is just simply supurb its very yeasty with hints of fruits and some bubblegum and a touch of sweetness. The palate is so soft, its slightly creamy with an initial hint of carbonic bite, the mouthfeel is extraordinarily smooth. It boasts some pear to go along with a fine malt profile and all very well balanced with hops. It finishes smooth and long...sublime.

Pours a clear golden color with a large white head. Smells a bit lagery. Crisp and clean in the mouth. Flavor is a bit grassy with a definite belgian yeast flavor. Flavor is generally fairly mild. Not a beer I would choose to drink every day.
