Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

For export relabeled as "Vieille Provision".

33 cl bottle. Yeast at the bottom. Cloudy yellow colour with a nice white head. Nice spicy nose with hints of yeast, lemon and wheat. Pretty full tasty flavour with notes of coriander, citrus, yeast and with a soft finish, ends with a very little but nice bitterness.

on tap. thick yellow beer with a decent head. Very light, lemon and tart flavors. Palate was a little rougher then i was expecting. Ok, but not a good session beer.

Cloudy pale straw colored pour with an abundant foamy white head that leaves nice lacing on glass. Nose is tart citrus like lemons. Light refreshing palate. Taste is astringent, tart and tangy with a dry finish. This is only the fifth Saison Iíve had, but itís the first one that Iíve really liked.

Pours a beautiful hazy golden with lively and rising white head. Smooth yeasty aroma with a touch of farmhouse hay, fresh and soft lemon aspect. The flavor is sharp, but pleasnt. Musty, a bit tart, almost like a sharp cheese. Light citrus aspect. Lightly acidic, orangey with a hint of pepperyness and a light yeast touch. A well made and classic Saison.

I think itís a 2006 vintage 375 ml bottle. Popped the bottle and it wanted out. Had to goto the sink to pour this. The beer has a nice murky caramel colored body with a sexy meringue head. Awesome lacing. The aroma is heavy in cloves, Belgian/French yeasts, bananas, funk and black pepper. The flavor is lightly tart with some spicy yeasts, pepper, allspice, bananas, toasty grains. At times, too spicy. I wanted a nice pleasant brew and it was all up in my face. Nice slick mouthfeel and refreshing dryness.

What a great aroma which surrounds the opening of my snifter. Banana, cheese, barnyard funkiness. Large foamy head which is uneven. Flavor is sour, but sweet and fruity as well and is balanced nicely. Yeasty with a dry finish. For the saison style, this is top notch.

Drank in a tulip. Murky yellow poor, amazingly HUGE white longlasting head. Very herbal, pepper, citrus, corriander, a little bit of ginger, pine resin. Dry mouthfeel, a little bitterness. What you smell is preaty much what you taste. Very interesting beer. Not spectacular, but definitely worthy.
