COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned.
Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

A 33cl bottle at Lucky Beer Bar in Guomao, Futian, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. A cloudy, opaque dark straw color pouring with a dense 2 inch+ frothy, white foam head. The aroma is an old stone farmhouse on a belgian farm field and everything that is good about the outdoors. The beer is smooth on the palate with only enough csrbonation and bitterness to satisfy, nothing more. Flavors include lichen, spring water, sandalwood, corriander, and orange pulp. The white head completely covers the whole drink for the duration of your enjoyment and while the beer starts fluidly, it finishes with some foamy bubbles, reminding you it’s beer.

Robe paille, explosion à l’ouverture, grosse mousse, bien trouble.

A - pours a hazy pale amber colour, one inch bubbly white head, average lacing, mostly lasting head (always about a half centimetre covering the beer), big bubbles constantly rising S - belgian yeast, champagne, spicy and floral scents, bready malt, bubble gum, slight banana and clove, orange, light coriander, light alcohol, amazing scent T - Lemony citrus, yeasty, spicy, very fruity, bubblegum, orange, some apple, pear, some banana, earthy finish M - Light to medium mouthfeel, high carbonation, round and astringent up front, average dry finish with tongue coating maltiness lingering, not too fizzy but sharp tasting O - my first Saison and although i have nothing else to base it on, I loved it! will definitely be looking into some other ones to try. i loved the fruitiness of this one and there seemed to be a very bubblegum smell and taste which was pleasant. anything belgian screams my name

750mL bottle. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a white head. Grassy, some funk, yeast, a slight tartness. Very nice. I can see why this is the benchmark for all other Saisons. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: 750ml: Hazy, golden, thick head with coarse bead and good lace. Spice and herb, citrus. Fruity, malt lift. Fresh and also complexed. Dry, slightly acid but not really sour and light to moderate bitterness. Rich, bright fruit driven palate. Great flavor. Very high carbonation that rubs with the bitterness. Very nice beer. Love the length, structure and flavor.
