Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

For export relabeled as "Vieille Provision".

375ml corked bottle. Hazy pale straw color with a nice lasting head and lacing. Nose started with some shunkiness, which vanished soon after the pour. A grassy mild honey lemon. Nice palate and quite effervescent. Dry mild flavors of apples and lemons, mixed with grains. Good balance of sweet and dry. A noticable Belgium yeast character.

Drank at the Publik House in Chester, NJ. Pours a nice orange, hazy color. Has a nice farmhouse aroma. I wish it was a wee bit more tart.

Bottle at @himmeriget cph. Straw yellow, with tall white head. Light malty aroma, with a yeasty, white pepper and fruity scent. Taste with light bread, light fruityness and yeast, white pepper, light sweetness to the finish. Carbonation medium.

World Beer Festival Raleigh It has aromas that are from fruity esters, with spices, and earthly elements. It has flavors of fruity esters, clove, and floral elements. There are also some earthly elements as well.

0.33 l bottle from ’Gall & Gall Cuijk’, bottled in December 2014 (more than a year old). Clear, golden yellow with a large, dense, stable, white head. Slightly funky, yeasty-spicy, floral and a little fruity aroma of white grapes, peach, clove, lemon peel and some coriander. Sweetish, slightly sourish-funky, fruity-spicy taste of lemon balm, peach, white grapes, gooseberry, clove and coriander, followed by a short, moderately dry-bitter, minimally sourish, slightly yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly spritzy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Very refreshing, love that subtle funkiness, perfectly balanced and not too dry. Good!

From notes. Enjoyed this baby at a line share at Witch’s Hat on St. Patty’s Day. 750 mL bottle cracked open by ebone1988. I wish this one were better. Thanks, I guess. The pour is a hazy orangey yellow color with a large fizzly white head that froths down to a film leaving some dirty looking lace on the glass. The aroma is, well, not good. There is a strong presence of banana and clove from the traditional Belgian yeast, and it makes me a little sad. There is a little funkiness to it, some dried hay or something, but I can only get the strong Belgian. The flavor is just off. There is a little tartness to it, and the banana and clove really take over. This is pretty everything I dislike about saisons. The mouth feel is heavier with a light and fizzy carbonation with a lingeringly spicy banana finish. It’s not good at all. Most saisons I can hang with, but this is just what I don’t like. Damn you Eric.

Bottle, huge white head over clear yellow beer. Aroma malt and black pepper. Taste malt, faint banana, clove, black pepper. Palate is light, carbonation lively.
