Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

Bottle. Pour is bright yellow and hazy. Bright white thick head. Aroma is pungent and funky. Taste is light, with fruit and Belgian funk forward. Light quenching mouthfeel. Nice finish as well.

0.33L bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Mild, sour aroma with mineral hints. Initial flavor is mild, sweet cerea with some nutty malt. Not much going on in the middle, leading to a long, herby hop and sour linger. Medium body with a thin mouthfeel and active carbonation. Overall, a refreshing beer that has a fairly unique flavor profile, but not all that well-balanced as it’s dominated by the linger.

It poured a vibrant clear yellow that reminded of apple juice and that other liquid. The aroma was a bit confusing, some nice fruit with some strange funkiness. I wasn’t sold on the flavour overall, while it was fizzy and refreshing there was much more strange yeasty funk than I expected.

Cloudy yellow with big white head. Fruity, apricots, pineapple and some spices. Really beautiful cloudy caramel light golden color. Taste is sweet at first with a slightly sour finish

A clouded gold pour with an off white head which has a moderate retention. There is an aroma of bread, hops and citrus. The body is full and yeasty with a nice little fizz. It starts with a citrus flavor quickly followed by a light malt yeast and finishes with a bit of pepper and slight tone of lemon. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Marshmallowy soft dense white foam over orange golden beer, lively, fun little particles. Medium plus aroma intensity of malt, hops, apples, fresh. Well-carbonated, hops bitter attack with citric sourness, merging on the mid palate with dry malt, more citrus and apples, herbs and spiciness. Clean, well resolved and balanced, and then an unusually long finish. I was worried this couldn’t live up to its reputation, but in its simplicity it is quite complex and brilliant.

Good saison with thin head and hazy lightly golden color. Yeasty and a smooth but bitter finish

330ml bottle into a tulip. Pours a hazy dark gold with a huge billowy three finger white head. Thick foam and lacing lasts throughout the drink. Very, very impressive. Aroma is everything a Saison should be. Loads of spicy Belgian yeast along with some peach and white bread. Orange and coriander along with some floral notes. The spiciness just really pops from this beer. The flavor is much along the same lines as the aroma. Tons of spice with touches of orange, coriander, and peach. Really nice bready notes from the malt throughout. More pepper towards the finish. Mouthfeel is very light and spritzy with just a hint of sweetness in the finish; very quaffable. Overall, this is the textbook definition of what a Saison should be. Pretty much the defining beer for the style and one of my all time favorite beers.

Bottle. Pours a hazy pale yellow color with a huge foamy head that fades slowly and leaves chunky lacing. Aroma is flowers, pepper, hay, and herbs. Tastes very dry. Very floral with bread and a light fruitiness. Peppery finish. Not bad but I like many saisons way better.

Bière belge blonde refermentée en bouteille. Légèreté en bouche avec une délicate amertume. Bière agréable et rafraîchissante sans dévoiler d’arômes pouvant réellement la distinguer dans sa catégorie.
