4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at home. Pours clear light straw yellow with a huge soapy but incredibly stable head. Typical farmhouse nose: malty with yeast notes, hints of lime zeste, subtle spicy/herb touch . Light body, slight sourness, taste is lots of yeast and citrus. Classic hit.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours hazy golden straw with a large, dense soapy head. Aroma is lemony, yeast, horseblanket. Malty up front with a grassy, citrus zest flavor. Slightly fruity. Bitterness takes over in the finish that is also a bit dry. I understand why this is the benchmark for traditional saisons.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle into nonic pint glass. Enters the glass hazy yellow with a considerable head. Very carbonated. Smells of lemongrass, straw, sour and yeast. Tastes include Belgian yeast, malt, lemon, rosemary and bitterness. Bitter aftertaste. Good for a farmhouse, not my favorite style I guess.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at De Paas, Den Haag. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is dry crisp and yeasty. The flavour is weak bitter and a little sourness on the weak and watery palate. The hoppy bitterness comes through eventually and this beer did grow on me over time. It’s a decent beer, but it won’t ever be a favourite
