COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned.
Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

75cl at home while studying. Cork pops out on its own as soon as the cage is off. Pour is a very slightly hazy light gold, with a billowing white head that compacts to almost a whipped egg white cap. Aroma is some crisp malt, floral and spicy hop and yeast character. Light white fruit. Taste is quite similar, with perhaps more fruit. Lots of floral character, with a white pepper spice finish. Fair amount of yeast character. Mouthfeel is spritzy and intensely dry. Very, very nice beer, not a ton of the funky complexities in a young bottle such as this one....guess that means I have to dig up an old rate or just buy more to hide away!

Marshmallowy soft dense white foam over orange golden beer, lively, fun little particles. Medium plus aroma intensity of malt, hops, apples, fresh. Well-carbonated, hops bitter attack with citric sourness, merging on the mid palate with dry malt, more citrus and apples, herbs and spiciness. Clean, well resolved and balanced, and then an unusually long finish. I was worried this couldn’t live up to its reputation, but in its simplicity it is quite complex and brilliant.

Good saison with thin head and hazy lightly golden color. Yeasty and a smooth but bitter finish

330ml bottle into a tulip. Pours a hazy dark gold with a huge billowy three finger white head. Thick foam and lacing lasts throughout the drink. Very, very impressive. Aroma is everything a Saison should be. Loads of spicy Belgian yeast along with some peach and white bread. Orange and coriander along with some floral notes. The spiciness just really pops from this beer. The flavor is much along the same lines as the aroma. Tons of spice with touches of orange, coriander, and peach. Really nice bready notes from the malt throughout. More pepper towards the finish. Mouthfeel is very light and spritzy with just a hint of sweetness in the finish; very quaffable. Overall, this is the textbook definition of what a Saison should be. Pretty much the defining beer for the style and one of my all time favorite beers.

Bottle. Pours a hazy pale yellow color with a huge foamy head that fades slowly and leaves chunky lacing. Aroma is flowers, pepper, hay, and herbs. Tastes very dry. Very floral with bread and a light fruitiness. Peppery finish. Not bad but I like many saisons way better.

Bière belge blonde refermentée en bouteille. Légèreté en bouche avec une délicate amertume. Bière agréable et rafraîchissante sans dévoiler d’arômes pouvant réellement la distinguer dans sa catégorie.

Hazy blonde with a nice spicy aroma, sour apples are noted. Nice bready tatse with spices, citrus or sour apples, slightly tart, ok mouthfeel.

Bottle, 33cL. Home. A clear golden beer on top, opaque yellow at the bottom with thin bubbles. Huge creamy white head with brown sediment on top : gorgeous like the cream of a cappuccino with chocolate ! Fruity aroma (citrus, lemon), spices, herbs, bread in the end. Medium herbal bitter and sugary medium sweet (maybe too much). Medium body, silky texture, high carbonation, bitter refreshing finish with a sweet note. Overall, the look of this beer is stunning, nice herbal/fruity/"spicy" aroma. This would be awesome if sweetness was less significant.

Hazy yellow. White persistent head. Fantastic aroma of continental hops, spices, weissbier, coriander and a hint of lime. Similarly good taste with superb drinkability. Hops and bitterness in aftertaste.
