COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned.
Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

Cloudy fizzy yellow. Thin head. Tastes like most beers out of green bottles. Smells horrible. Pretty average.

Bottle. Aroma of barnyard and grass. Taste is banana, citrus, funk and barnyard. Just the perfect pale beer. Especially for hot summer days. A subtle, but magic beer.

Poured from bottle that I bought probably a year ago or so, finally getting around to drinking it, pours a cloudy yellowish orange with a really thick white head and a sticky lacing in the glass, aroma had a little more skunk than I was expecting but has some nice fruit and barnyard as well, as it warmed the skunk went away more and the fruit came through, the flavor has a yeasty front end with a little bit of funk and barnyard in the finish, dry through out, personally I thought it improved the more that it warmed up, solid beer for it’s style.

750ml bottle. Pours a hazy pale gold with a one finger head of fine white bubbles. The nose is herbal, with some floral notes, faint anice, pink bubblegum, yeast, black pepper, malt notes. It smells great. The taste is dry, and bitter up front with some citrus, yeast, hard water minerality, black pepper, finishing bitter with some citrus, and spice. There are a lot of layers here, and they’re all very subtle. This is just full on solid. A beautiful beer.

Aroma: floral/blossoms, sour note, lemon peel, straw, yeast Flavor: moderately tart and bitter attack is followed by orange peel and dried orange, dried lemon, white pepper, spice and malt on the mid-palate. Finishes dry with a pleasant-tasting bitterness. Comment: good medium bodied drink. Scores well in all categories. A young, fresh bottle imported in a reefer unit. Drink by 5/2015 on label.

Bottle. Pours a hazy light amber color with a thick white head. Nose is strong with a huge amount of funk to it with some sour and basement aromas to it. Taste is a little sour, but not as much as you’d expect. Dry and slightly heavy.

On tap at liberty hound. Gold pour with a bubbly thin head. Fruity Aroma with some hay/straw. Taste is bitter up front and relatively dry. Some tartness, with some champagney notes and a sweetness on the back of the tongue that reminds me of some sweet hay or candy ish malt. Medium big carbonation. Clean and refreshing.

A cloudy light orange appearance. Sweet with a mild citrus aroma. Has a light sweet taste with a medium bitterness, it last and mixes well with the alcoholic after taste.
