4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
330 ml bottle. Hazy honey gold color topped by a big rocky white head. Fresh lemon citrus, yeasty malt aroma. Wonderful tangy wheat-like malt flavor has the slightest barnyard funkiness. Very refreshing and flavorful. Notes of hay, tangerine, coriander and mustard seed. Pleasantly balanced with spicy, pink peppercorn hops in the finish. This a world classic and a must have for saison lovers.

4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Poured from a bomber into a pint glass a cloudy lemon with a huge thick white fluffy head.
Aroma is a luscious beautiful earthy grassy feel with a touch of sweetness.
Flavor is barnyard perfection. Very slight malty sweetness but a stronger dry citrus. Highly carbonated.
Outstanding in pretty much every level. The farm ale funk is done very well here. Makes my top 5 of Saison list.

Hazy, dull, light golden-orange in colour, huge frothy clingy white head that clings to the glass, flowery and yeasty aromas. Sour sweetness with flavours of grass and wheat then spicy yeast. Light body and very carbonated, clean, crisp peppery finish.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
So this is the start of it all. Poured at tasting. Slightly cloudy golden color with white head and lace. Aroma is spring in a bottle. Yeasty, wheaty with grass. Fruity taste from the Alsace Triskel hops used in 2013. I bought a bottle for my collection. Interesting and refreshing. Very much enjoyed. I also love the simple label.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
A 33cl bottle at Lucky Beer Bar in Guomao, Futian, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. A cloudy, opaque dark straw color pouring with a dense 2 inch+ frothy, white foam head. The aroma is an old stone farmhouse on a belgian farm field and everything that is good about the outdoors. The beer is smooth on the palate with only enough csrbonation and bitterness to satisfy, nothing more. Flavors include lichen, spring water, sandalwood, corriander, and orange pulp. The white head completely covers the whole drink for the duration of your enjoyment and while the beer starts fluidly, it finishes with some foamy bubbles, reminding you it’s beer.
