4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Beautiful, classic saison. Peppery, hints of clove, citrus. crisp, dry, refreshing, disappears too quickly!

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
330ml bottle into a tulip.
Pours a hazy dark gold with a huge billowy three finger white head. Thick foam and lacing lasts throughout the drink. Very, very impressive.
Aroma is everything a Saison should be. Loads of spicy Belgian yeast along with some peach and white bread. Orange and coriander along with some floral notes. The spiciness just really pops from this beer.
The flavor is much along the same lines as the aroma. Tons of spice with touches of orange, coriander, and peach. Really nice bready notes from the malt throughout. More pepper towards the finish. Mouthfeel is very light and spritzy with just a hint of sweetness in the finish; very quaffable.
Overall, this is the textbook definition of what a Saison should be. Pretty much the defining beer for the style and one of my all time favorite beers.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy pale yellow color with a huge foamy head that fades slowly and leaves chunky lacing. Aroma is flowers, pepper, hay, and herbs. Tastes very dry. Very floral with bread and a light fruitiness. Peppery finish. Not bad but I like many saisons way better.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bière belge blonde refermentée en bouteille. Légèreté en bouche avec une délicate amertume. Bière agréable et rafraîchissante sans dévoiler d’arômes pouvant réellement la distinguer dans sa catégorie.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, 33cL. Home. A clear golden beer on top, opaque yellow at the bottom with thin bubbles. Huge creamy white head with brown sediment on top : gorgeous like the cream of a cappuccino with chocolate ! Fruity aroma (citrus, lemon), spices, herbs, bread in the end. Medium herbal bitter and sugary medium sweet (maybe too much). Medium body, silky texture, high carbonation, bitter refreshing finish with a sweet note. Overall, the look of this beer is stunning, nice herbal/fruity/"spicy" aroma. This would be awesome if sweetness was less significant.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Served on tap in a chalice glass
Appearance – The beer is served a lightly hazed yellow amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The head has a decent level of retention, fading over time to leave a nice level of streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is a nice mix of sweet, grain, and sour funk. There are nice sweeter Belgian aromas of a banana and light citrus smell with lots of Belgian pale malt aromas. A yeasty smell is there as well as well as a good showing of funk, taking on a mix of green apple and hay. With these aromas, there is also a light smell of spice and a bit of sour lemon. Overall very inviting.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweet fruity flavor with lots of orange and a bit of peach, pear and apricot as well. Along with these sweeter fruits are some flavors of candied sugar and a sweet-and sour green apple taste. Right upfront there is also a light bready flavor which fades slightly as the flavor advances. While the bready fades, other flavors take its place with some yeasty and banana flavors joining the profile. Some spice flavors and a bit of lemon later come to the tongue and more toward the end a decent haylike and grassy flavor join the taste profile as well, creating a nice mix of sweet and sour-funk flavors to linger on the tongue at the end of the taste.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is thin with a carbonation level that is slightly higher. The thinner body and higher carbonation are fantastic for the sweet and funked flavor of the brew, giving an overall very crisp and drinkable feel.
Overall – This is a quite nice saison with a great drinkability and a fantastic fruity sweet-yet nicely soured and funked flavor. Rather refreshing, crisp, and delicious.
