Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

I rarely say "complex" to describe a beer but this is complex. Pours a cloudy amber with a pure white head. Initial taste of orange, bread and cinnamon spice. But there's more. Vanilla? Lemon? ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Very pleasant & soft nose. Bready notes upfront and zesty citrus notes in the background. Slightly spicy. Tastes of yeast, cloves, lemongrass, small amount of citrus and coriander. Dry finish. Refreshing and very complex.

Lemon and yeast to the nose. Taste is hops, citrus and cloves with plenty of carbonation. Hazy straw pour with a thick white head. Nicely done beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Denne Saison Dupont har et lidt uklart og gyldent udseende med et medium hvidt skum. llen har en frisk og lidt maltet aroma og smag. Desuden har den en kraftig bitter eftersmag. Medium karbonering.

Fresh aroma of hops, fruits, herbs, wheat and malts. Hazy golden color, fine white foam. Medium-high sweetness, followed by a lightly bitterness. Lively carbonation, medium-full body. One of the best saisons existing!

Saison bionda, fresca e "agreste", il prototipo dello stile. Dolciastra, fruttata, maltata e delicatamente speziata. Piacevole!

330ml bottle [Im not sure, where the bartle-bier takes the must from, but Im glad he brought some for me - merci ! ]. Clear, yellow-ish, deep golden colour, a handful of tiny settlement chunks floating around; average to huge, fluffy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing white head on top. Concentrated, fruity aroma of dried stone fruit, peach, apricot, mirabelle, mildly spicy, dusty yeasty overtones, minimally waxy, tart-ish complement with notes of unripe nectarine and peach peel. Taste is moderately sweet fruity, covering the whole spectrum of yellow stone fruit flavours, dry hoppy overtones, a waxy touch of nectarine peel, minimally peppery, yeasty spiciness; full-bodied, smooth and soft palate, gentle though refreshingly prickling carbonation. Excellent.

Bottle bbe 07/18. Dark yellow beer with large white head. Aroma is grassy, full flavoured yeasty, slightly like a German Weizenbier. Taste is spicy yeasty, Weizen-like with a very nice texture. Was perfect paired with the self-made, thin based, non-spicy pizza. Yummy!

had a bad and a good bottle. the bad one had a lot of dms and vegetal flavour and aroma. the good one had: hay, bread, dough, alcohol, banana, bubblegum, esters, spice (peppery). pale, hazy, minimal head, white foam. light sweetness, medium sourness. light body, thin feel, fizzy, long finish, very dry.

33 cl bottle@home in Trappist glass@approx 10 degrees C. Pours cloudy yellow golden with large white head with rather low retention turning into lacing and that Belgian clotted surface which is often a sign of quality. Pleasant aroma of malt, yeast and a little brett. Dry taste on the light side for a Saison, but a wonderfully balanced earthiness, yeast, malt, spicyness and hop, with that expected bitternes kicking in in the long lingering aftertaste. Quite high carbonation ensures that "bubbly" mouthfeel which exemplifies great Belgian beers of different varieties and Dupont is one of them. Good stuff!!
