2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 BeerBiker (1412) - Odense, - MAR 20, 2010[Can from Kjell bought in Cairo.] Can @ Odense Tasting, Feb 2010. Noisy brew, but it was the best "overseas" beer that eve. Watery and corny.
0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 GoufCustom (221) - HONG KONG - MAY 8, 2013
500 ml green bottle bought at Market Place by Jason’s in iSquare, Tsim Sha Tsui.
Piss-like golden yellow colour; Razor thin head and residual white foam which fades in 20 seconds; Almost no lacing and some notable carbonation; Pretty pungent smell of skunk, malt, rice grain, and faint grass. Skunkiness kind of died down after about 1 minutes but residual smell still remains; Light sweet taste of very thin malt, light grainy rice, light wet cardboard, very light chalk dust, light skunked hops, and faint hint of citrus and grass; Extremely light body, watery palate; Mouth feel is skunked light sweet beer-water with thankfully only a touch of wet cardboard and chalk dust, unfortunately the residual skunkiness simply won’t go away. Take away the light struck, it’s just a watery tasteless swill; Hoppiness is residual citrus taste and grass, no bitterness at all and finish is just sweetness and skunk;Wet after taste, very easy and watery to mouth.
Comments: This country tick is not much of a pain after all, as I’ve read the reviews beforehand and pretty much expected the worst. It turns out to be that way. An awful skunky grainy beer water swill, unenjoyable even under the desert heat. This one is a no-brainer: drain pour after 5 sips.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 zenkis (247) - Ogre, LATVIA - MAY 7, 2013
Pours pale urine with medium head, even light lacing.
Aroma - mild sweet malty, straw-herbal hops, and far away something from repair course. Taste is mild sweet, mild bitter, actually to me there was no bad aspects in flavor overall. Light body, watery texture - is big minus to me along with absence of intensity in aroma. But.. you can always apply this liquid to some needs.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Vells (257) - LATVIA - MAY 7, 2013
Clear golden with medium white lasting head. Lacing..
Aroma.. rubberish hoppy, low malts.
Sweetish with almost no bitterness. Watery.
Good for refreshing if you like a drink with far notes of beer
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 luttonm (1629) - Belgrade, SERBIA - APR 26, 2013
.5l can brought back from Egypt to Belgrade for me by Andy, thanks mate. Not a bad beer, I imagine it tastes better in a nice context but this is not bad to drink further afield. Mild dry-dusty fruit, bittering in the middle and not the most refreshing at the end. Odd beer, but if it was super cold and it was warm out this would be fine.
1.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 Kita (422) - Koper, SLOVENIA - MAR 29, 2013
Bottled, 0.50l. Clear straw color with large frothy white head, poor lacing and tiny lively bubbles. Aroma of grassy hops, fresh hay, grainy malt, citrus and lemon grass. Taste is hard to describe. There are some traces of malt and cardboard, while mouthfeel is totaly bland with fairly detectable bitterness at finish. Light body, thin texture and fizzy carbonation on the first sip and then totally flat. Completely tasteless...

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Grumbo (186) - Suffolk, ENGLAND - FEB 23, 2013
Bottle brought back from Egypt by Peter. Pale yellow colour, fizzy, not full-bodied. Not much to say about it really. Probably would have gone down better in the Egyptian sun, as the description says.

500 ml bottle. Aroma bitter with some grainy malt. Taste is watery and bland, grain with fairly high bitterness. Should prolly be enjoyed in the sands of egypt, not at home in the snow...
