On Draft @ Le Meridien Pyramids pool bar, Giza, Egypt:
Pleasantly surprised by this Egyptian Lager. It had a golden appearance, with little aroma. When poured from the tap it had a frothy head that eventually disappeared. The taste was well balanced and very refreshing... just what the beer Doctor ordered after a long, hot day exploring the Pyramids.

does not count Jul 24, 2007 Been in Egypt on and off for 8 years, believe me when I say that in this heat, a light lager like Sakara Gold is extremely refreshing, nothing beats the heat like its unique pilsner taste. The score is too low for this beer. Try two or 3 and youll find a soft-spot in your heart for it. Next time you go to egypt and you don’t want to look like a total tourist, drink Sakara, not stella.
