1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
500ml bottle. Pours a clear medium gold, with a moderate white head, which lasts fairly well, but does not leave much lace. Grassy hops are the most prominent aroma, backed by sweet, grainy malt. Uncomplicated grass hops up front give way to white bread and some grainy malt. The finish is quite watery. An uninspiring but fairly inoffensive lager.

1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Considering the climate, both in weather and culture, this beer is made under, it is a wonder it even exist, and is drinkable at that. Pretty much a middle of the road, typical warm weather lager, a bit sweet, but with an ok bitterness, I’m sure it suits the tourists sweltering in the heat just fine.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
From a country that invented beer 5000 years ago one could expect something better. Ice cold from the fridge it is drinkable but tastes like a tin can and also very watery. Is there any hop used? I don’t think so. Only advisable if you’re lost in the desert and close to die from thirst.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Thanks to Erzengel! Pours a clear medium yellow with barely any head. Smell is sweet light malt and grain. Taste is the same as smell along with artificial sweetener taste - it ends a bit dry with a touch of metallic flavor. Active carbonation which is a bit course with light body. Not a very good beer.

50cl-can. Thanks to Frank!! The beer is pale in taste, watery. A bit malty in the mainpart leaves this beer a pale, malty-watery aftertaste.
Not as good as the Stella Lager from the same brewery. Not as round. Probably due to the can. But ok!

0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
500 ml green bottle bought at Market Place by Jason’s in iSquare, Tsim Sha Tsui.
Piss-like golden yellow colour; Razor thin head and residual white foam which fades in 20 seconds; Almost no lacing and some notable carbonation; Pretty pungent smell of skunk, malt, rice grain, and faint grass. Skunkiness kind of died down after about 1 minutes but residual smell still remains; Light sweet taste of very thin malt, light grainy rice, light wet cardboard, very light chalk dust, light skunked hops, and faint hint of citrus and grass; Extremely light body, watery palate; Mouth feel is skunked light sweet beer-water with thankfully only a touch of wet cardboard and chalk dust, unfortunately the residual skunkiness simply won’t go away. Take away the light struck, it’s just a watery tasteless swill; Hoppiness is residual citrus taste and grass, no bitterness at all and finish is just sweetness and skunk;Wet after taste, very easy and watery to mouth.
Comments: This country tick is not much of a pain after all, as I’ve read the reviews beforehand and pretty much expected the worst. It turns out to be that way. An awful skunky grainy beer water swill, unenjoyable even under the desert heat. This one is a no-brainer: drain pour after 5 sips.
