Saku 2.8% is a genuine low-alcohol beer, rich in hops. That’s right: a genuine beer, not spring water with a slight hint of beer. It includes a hefty dose of hops, an ambitious character, and the brew masters’ best skills, which have given birth to a very worthy rival to its stronger colleagues.
As for its delightful taste, Saku 2.8% may firmly be classed in the same category as light pilsner beers. Thanks to its lower alcohol content, Saku 2.8% is especially good for quenching your thirst after a workout, for light refreshment in the sauna, or for a summer grill party, where a great-tasting beer is more important than the buzz.
Genuine low-alcohol beer, rich in hops.

50cl can. Average beer. Good, when you want to drink only one. Good with meal during daytime, when you need to drive. I actually have not seen it for a while in the shops. Picture taken some time ago.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can. Pale golden body, minimal head. Weak but clean malty aroma. Taste is also clean but watery. Product description states that Saku is only the distributor. This usually means that the beer is made in some other Carlsberg’s division in the Baltics - maybe Aldaris or Utenos. I wonder why this needs to be a secret.

500ml can - shared by Marduk - thanks!
Spring water with a slight hint of beer. Pitiful dose of hops. Smelt, and tasted, of mineral water. Very pale. Very watery and fizzy. Probably its best use would be splashed over sauna stones.

0,5l can. Very pale yellow color. Small white head, disappears quickly. No aroma to talk about. Quite smooth to drink. As I drunk it ice cold there was no flavor to talk about.
