COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saku has enriched the flavoured trend beverage market with the new DLight. New Saku DLight is an even more refreshing, less bitter, slightly carbonated, and pomegranate-flavoured beer beverage. In consumer surveys, the unprecedented pomegranate flavour won a surprising, but unrivalled victory on the Estonian market. Complying with consumer wishes, the new DLight has been created with higher alcohol content: 4% vol. Trend beverages, which are gaining popularity in Europe as well, are good alternatives to stronger ciders, long drinks, and vodka cocktails at events where stronger drinks are not appropriate. The name Saku DLight is derived from the English word “delight” and is reflected in the entire being of the drink.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2015 0,33L bottle (as Saku On Ice Granaatõun). Pours dark pink with white-pink head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is straight puke, sweetness. Flavor is very sweet, raspberries, sugar and some more sugar. Overall: f’u ratebeer for adding a new style, now I have to taste this sugar water to get a style tick. How is this any better than crappy artificial ciders that are unrateable?!

Red "beer", small fizzy white head. Nose is sticky sweet pomegranate syrup, some weak bitter notes. Flavor is sickly sweet pomegranate with some weird candy edge I can’t quite put a finger on. Fizzy, sticky, disgusting.

Bottle@ Rimi, Tartu. drink ii as Saku on ice granaatõun. Pours clear pink with fluffy pinkish head, stays. Aroma is sweet, mostly grenadine syrup like. Taste is sweet, grenadine syrup and water. Not bad, but nothing like beer at all.

How is this not just a dodgy rebranding of the D-light? Just as shit. No beer has been within 100m of this product. Fizzy crappy fruit juice. Stinks.

This drink is a complete disgrace. There’s bugger all evidence of anything that could even be vaguely described as beer in it, it’s just a fruit-flavoured weak alcohol delivery medium. IMHO not a beer. Whichever marketeer invented this abomination should just go out round the back and shoot himself in the back of the head 37 times.

Clear red with a minimal head. Sweet aroma. Taste very sweet with artificial fruity flavours. Can’t find any beer-like flavours. Despite the sweetness, the mouthfeel is watery. That’s more like a fruit soda, not beer.

Pleasant, refreahing, like a lemonade. Nothing too special, as the beer is meant for refreshment

33cl bottles. This is much worse than Baltika experiments - this is water with a taste of beer and pomegranate. Just a huge minus all around. Good that this monstrosity is gone, or is it?

0.33L bottle. Sweet cranberry aroma. Refreshing dirst killer. My favorite of chemical beers. Forest berries, some cherry syrup taste. Overcooked sugar flavor on finish.

Interesting pomegranate soda with a beer-ish head and faintly beer-ish, yeasty aftertaste. Heavily astringent, almost oily. I love sweet, low-quality fruit-flavored stuff far, far more than the average RateBeerian, and even I don’t love this. Drinkable for sure, and the pomegranate flavor is interesting and welcome, but I wouldn’t seek this out
