COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saku's oldest beer.
Saku Hele is a light special brew with a strong taste of hops and a pleasant aroma, which has been developed together with Czech master brewers. Saku Hele is brewed according to one of Saku’s oldest recipes in honour of Valerian Baggo, the lord of Saku Manor, who established a truly industrial brewery from the manor’s small brewery.

Inte mycket att orda om egentligen. Snygg öl i o f s, med stort skum som lägger sig långsamt. Fruktighet och gräs i aromen, svag sötma med viss kex- och fruktsmak. Med betoning på svag.

Bottle, from Rhythm & Booze, Barton. Gold, thin but lasting white head and moderate condition. Gentle sweet maltiness in the nose with some buttery notes, quite clean and soft in the mouth with some chalky grain and a delicate hop floweriness. Brief hop bitterness in the finish.

Tap and bottle during trip to Tallinn, Aug 2011. Both tap and bottle offered no great surprise, quite watery and pretty gassy, a thirst quencher in the warm weather, if anything. I’ll also echo the ’inoffensive’ comments previously made.

500 ml brown bottle at the brewery. Pours a gold color with no head but a few fine bubbles. Somewhat dry and light-bodied. A slight hop bitterness and slight hop flavor. Very subtle pale malt character noticeable. Fair.

Bottle shared at Travellers, Tallinn. Really just a vey boring beer, but not terrible in flavor. Inoffensive as a previous rating said

Appearances are great. Thick heavy head, that last for quite a while, golden colour. Taste is heavier than other estonian lagers. Probably the hoppiest. Bitter, still enjoyable. Clear taste.
