COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saku's oldest beer.
Saku Hele is a light special brew with a strong taste of hops and a pleasant aroma, which has been developed together with Czech master brewers. Saku Hele is brewed according to one of Saku’s oldest recipes in honour of Valerian Baggo, the lord of Saku Manor, who established a truly industrial brewery from the manor’s small brewery.

From bottle, Estonian Sip and Tip Festival 2011, Meriton Grand, Tallinn. First impression: streak of lambic-like lemon without sourness (wheat?) in both aroma and taste. Just weird. Beeswax and metallic grassiness, rub of old denim. Alka Seltzer mouthfeel, delicate notes of coins, rubber and card. Astringent bitterness, cashew aftertaste- probably corn. Worse than that Russian rubbish I just tipped down the sink.

Vaaleata kultaista mallasjuomaa on lasissa tällä kertaa. Valkoista vaahtoa muodostuu oluen päälle, muttei kovinkaan paljon. Maltainen, viljainen ja hieman ruohoiseen vivahtava humalan tuoksu. Maussa mallasta, viljaa ja tunkkaisuutta. Jälkimaussa on hieman katkeruutta ja jotain greippimäistä.Tämä lager ei ole kovinkaan paksu. Hiilihappoja siinä on aika paljon.

[ Trade by oh6gdx ]. Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20101211]

Bottle @ Southern/Western Denmark Gathering , Ulfborg. Pours cloudy yellow with a small creamy egg white head. Nose is grain and corn. A bit of buiscuit and dough - sweet malts. Medium to thin body.

Three finger tall white head on a clear golden body. Fair lacing. Light malts and band aid with floral notes. Medium bitterness and light sweetness. Light bodied and watery texture. Inoffensive!

Pours clear pale yellow with a white head. Aroma has notes of grain, malt and yeast. Taste is light bitter with soft carbonation.

Bottle, 5.2%. Dusty aroma, ashtray, sourish. Hazy yellow colour. Small frothy white head. Citric flavour, a bit lambicky. Also some buttery maltiness. Not so clean, but goes down nevertheless.
