COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saku's oldest beer.
Saku Hele is a light special brew with a strong taste of hops and a pleasant aroma, which has been developed together with Czech master brewers. Saku Hele is brewed according to one of Saku’s oldest recipes in honour of Valerian Baggo, the lord of Saku Manor, who established a truly industrial brewery from the manor’s small brewery.

50cl bottle at Depeche Mode Baar, Tallinn. Pours golden with a white head. Lightly fruity and malty aroma, reminds me a bit of wheat beer. More fruity and more body than expected. Some bitterness in the finish. Easy to drink and quite well balanced. (2012-11-17)

Road soda with Deanso. Poured a clear golden colour with a big white frothy head. The aroma is malty leading to a light fruity yeasty slightly bitter flavour. A rather drinkable beer but lacks flavour.

0.5l bottle. A nice bitter taste. However it is pleasantly soft. After taste is a bit stronger bitterish. Color is clear and light. Beer with less foam. I like it. I reccomend to try it if possible. Exicitement guaranteed if you like bitter beers.

Better than the legion of pale lagers put out by Saku, this has a cleaner, slightly hoppier taste, no feel of adjuncts and less of chemicals. True enough to the style for EE, but not really an award winner either

żółta puszka pint, jak na razie chyba drugie najlepsze jasne piwo z Estonii (po Saku Karl Friedrich), jakie piłem. dobrze wyważone proporcje smaku, na końcu fajny słodkawy posmak, niezbyt dużo gazu, dość łagodna woda więc naprawdę fajnie wchodzi

50cl bottle from ABCBeers. Thick white head. Clear golden pour. A bit boring.

Unfortunately, it can not reach it all the way to a real Dortmunder. Bitterness is somewhat too weak, and a strange yeast sweetness remains in the finish. In the end, the result is more an ordinary lager beer, among others.

0,5l bottle and can. Clear golden body. Medium, thick white head. Hops, grass in aroma. Slightly sweet malty, earthy, grass in body. Faint hops.

Pleasing to look at with plenty of fine carbonation pushing up a pillowy snow-white head that holds for the length. The body a sparkling yellow gold. There is fresh milled grain and sawdust on the nose, kind of musty, sulphury and just a touch on the sour side. Good malt backbone, the palate is fuelled by a light fruit and corn-like sweetness upfront, drying out entirely as it heads south. Grainy with delicate hops showing and light bitter finish. Ends crisp, clean and with a tangy, sour fruit edge. Carbonation is a little biting, but sees it race across the tongue with alarming speed, the body quite light. Nothing bad about this one. Aroma could be cleaner, but the flavour is fine, balanced. Quite refreshingly simple! (50cL, Coded but not dated, Mane Liquor, Belmont)
