2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
500ml bottle from Alko Pasaati, Kotka, clear gold colour, large frothy mostly lasting white head, good lacing. Moderately malty aroma of grain and a hint of light bread, light to moderate herbal hops. Flavor is initially slightly sweet and acidic turning into a light bitter finish with a moderately astringent feel, lively carbonation, medium body, oily texture.
Otherwise insignificant lager with a better than average body and far from the worse ones.

Flaske, 50 cl. Let lys gylden med hvidt skum. Dufter af korn og mæsk - smager lige sådan. Sødt, klistret og helt uden karakter eller antydning af bitterhed. En totalt forglemmelig øl. Drukket den 22.4.12.

0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
UPDATED: OCT 8, 2013 This is unbelievable. This brew is supposed to be one of the best Saku lagers. And it was. Purchased a can from Selver, that was produced on 27 September, 2013 - price was 0.75EUR. That explains a lot - beer brewed for seasonal sales campaign - is in 100% of the cases is rubbish. P.S: Previous similar "sale" beer case was with Puls Pilsner - it was cloudy and sour.

Can from supermarket. Golden color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, malts, grass, a bit of toast and cardboard. Bitter finish with citrus and cardboard. Pretty basic bulk pale lager.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
can. pale, tastewise what you’d expect from a bulk lager. in a very self-deceptive way I’ve always thought that this beer is a bit better than its bland siblings. but that’s been fresh from tap. in a can, pretty much as the others.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
I tasted this at a couple of locations in Tallinn. In summary, I was disappointed. It was a rather bland beer served too cold. It poured with a reasonable lacy head, but the taste was indistinct and forgettable.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
50cl can from Rimi Hypermarked in Tallinn. Pours the usual clear pale golden with a small, white head. Lightly malty aroma with some fruity notes and hints of hops and vegetables. Fairly standard pale lager, not interesting, but far from the worst of its kind. Medium sweet with grainy and lightly hoppy flavours. Light to medium body with average carbonation. Ok pale lager.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
500 ml bottle.
Pours a pale golden colour with a white foamy head. Aroma of grainy malts, some citrus and herbs. Flavour of grainy malts, low grassy bitterness, some citrus and metallic notes. Light fruitiness as well. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and low carbonation. In the world of pale lagers this is certainly a drinkable one.
