COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saku Kuld – a modern classic, the absolute elite of Estonian beers, a combination of Saku’s hundreds-of-years-old brewing traditions, and the newest technology. With a rich taste, foam, and aroma, a delicate balance of freshness and mildness characterizes the taste of Saku Kuld. The freshness comes from Nordic oat malt and velvety smoothness is added to the refined bouquet by Hallertau hops. In addition, Saku Kuld is characterized by a clear colour and thick firm foam. Saku Kuld is sold in unique bottles with a relief of the Saku arms.

Well it's not a bad lager, I think it's not bad for what it is, crisp in both look and taste.

butelka 0,33. fajna mała butelka z przetłoczeniami inna niż na zdjęciu. Miękka woda miękko wchodzi mimo małej goryczki na końcu - piwko w moim guście. Trzeba kupić następnym razem w Tallinnie i spróbować innych piw Saku Kuld

Nothing wrong with this beer and nothing special about it either. Just the perfect exemple of an ordinary pale lager.

UPDATED: FEB 20, 2012 Pĺ boks fra systembolaget. Nydelig gylden farge, og bra med skum som dufter av humle. Fyldig sřtlig malt smak som gir en behagelig opplevelse i munnen. Rund og velbalansert..

ALLOVATE (2384) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - FEB 24, 2012
From the bottle, chilled. It pours well with very fine eddying streams of bubbles raising a thick, rocky white pad that lifts up a good half inch from the lip. The head held high it influences the taste and smooth mouthfeel. Toasted barley, toasted wheat, straw and hay bales give an all too pleasing aroma of a farm harvest in the Summer heat. Creamy, foamy, biscuity and sweet on first sip. Very light bodied, but solid in mouthfeel. Raspy, spicy, herbal hops at back, a bitter finish to it with lasting Hallertauer hop notes in the finish. Sweetness oddly mellows out as it warms to show some grainy, husky malt notes and more of the hops. This is easily a quaffable lager, simple and purposeful. Not bad! Aroma of grass, some flowers. Golden orange colour, small head. Lemon and flowers in the flavour. Good finish of citrus and fruit.
