COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saku Kuld – a modern classic, the absolute elite of Estonian beers, a combination of Saku’s hundreds-of-years-old brewing traditions, and the newest technology. With a rich taste, foam, and aroma, a delicate balance of freshness and mildness characterizes the taste of Saku Kuld. The freshness comes from Nordic oat malt and velvety smoothness is added to the refined bouquet by Hallertau hops. In addition, Saku Kuld is characterized by a clear colour and thick firm foam. Saku Kuld is sold in unique bottles with a relief of the Saku arms.

Bottle. Dull gold with a small white head. Aromas are grain with light corn. Flavours are cream and grain with some sweet biscuit. Very thin and very boring.

Can. Not enough acids. Combination of honey and bitter hops is not to my taste. No quality to me.

Eager off-white head, straw golden clear body, and the energetic head makes some lacings. Aroma; hops, malts, yeasty grains, apples, plums, prunes, grass and straw. Taste; caramel malts, hops, cheese, yeast, berries, prunes and bread. Normal feel and somewhat dry. Finishes with grains, bread and hops. Decent. Nice to be tasting a baltic lager with hops. It could be premium lager. [50 cl. br btl. 5.2%abv. °. BB19.08.14]

Tap at a Tallinn restaurant. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white tan head and some broken lace. The aroma is light malt, yeast hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp malt hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Served cool, it’s a thirst quenching pilsner. It’s no classic but it does it’s job.

0,5 pullo@ Saku Areena. Hennon sitrussmainen tuoksu ja humalaa. Hyvä kesäolut, kevyt.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht getreidig malzig. Geschmack sehr leicht süß malzig, getreidig, ansonsten total unspektakulär.

Beautiful clear, light golden, with a fine head. Nice hop-aroma with subtle caramel notes. Well-balanced taste, slightly short aftertaste.

Pale golden yellow looks, not much head. Aroma has barley and some honey sweetness. Taste is malty with some sweet honey notes. Thin body and high carbonation. A typical pale lager, with a little honey in there. Not the worst though.
