COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saku On Ice is a beer with a truly mild taste which is achieved through a special production process during which the temperature of the beer will be cooled down close to freezing point. A unique pull-off cork is used on Saku On Ice which makes the opening of the bottle significantly easier. Thanks to its mild taste Saku On Ice is an ideal thirst quencher on a warm summer day, on outdoor events or picnics.

NOt bad, not good. Just another attempt to make us drink bad beer chilled to not notice it. Greenish colour and nos special taste.

Had sixpack of this back in 2001 on Via Baltica bus tour. Well, pours pale yellow with normal head. Not much aromas, some malts and paper. Very mild and no bitterness. Eventually serves its function.

Bottle at another St Pat’s in Tallinn. Wet hay, cooked corn aroma. Corn and cream, limey hints, rubber. Less aggressive fizz than Originaal. Cashew, cornflake afters. Pure gold, white rim. Yet another variation on a theme.

Bottle. Pale yellow, low head. Aroma is weak although the bottle is only two weeks old. Maybe it’s just me but I find its taste profile to be very similar to other Saku beers (Originaal, Presidendi Pilsner). It is watery with some sweet artificial hops and then finishes with some mild cardboard. Painfully mediocre.

Pale golden, some head, some lacing. Sweet malty nose with unpleasant plastic notes. The taste is very sweet malts with some grainy apples thrown in. The aftertaste is almost not there, but some oily residue is. Pretty bad.

Pours very pale yellow with a light head. Has practically no aroma or flavor at all, what little it has are your everyday lager. Ideal for drinking ice cold when you’re really thirsty. It doesn’t lose any flavor to cooling since it has nothing to lose.

Bottle, from trade with SaintMatty. A clear, pale golden beer with a small, dense white head leaving some nice lacings. Quite sweetish on the nose, with pale malts and yellow apples and pears. Some grassy notes too. Sweet in the mouth, fruity and grassy, lacking a lot on bitterness. Medium body, and a finish much like the initial flavor. Some hints of metal blends in. A decent beer, but too sweet. 100522
