COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Saku On Ice is a beer with a truly mild taste which is achieved through a special production process during which the temperature of the beer will be cooled down close to freezing point. A unique pull-off cork is used on Saku On Ice which makes the opening of the bottle significantly easier. Thanks to its mild taste Saku On Ice is an ideal thirst quencher on a warm summer day, on outdoor events or picnics.

33cl bottle from Tallinn Airport. Pour pale yellow with a white head. Lightly malty aroma with hints of cooked vegetables and fruits. Fairly sweet and lightly malty with a hint of fruitiness and a very lightly bitter finish. Quite watery and not much flavour, but drinkable, especially as a thirst quencher on a very hot day.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht malzig, getreidig. Geschmack wässrig, malzig süß, getreidig.

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2014 Pours a clear golden color. Average white head with short retention. A very skunky aroma dominates the nose. Some malts present. The taste is sweet, way too sweet. Lacks any decent bitterness. Sweetness in the aftertaste as well. Not nice.

330ml bottle shared by djoeye. Late straw coloured body. Rocky white head fading to a filmy layer. Smell of pale malts and meat. Fruity taste of sweet pears overrun by some kind of meat. Semi-dry ending. Lacking hops. About drinkable (Tromsø 10.11.2013).

UPDATED: NOV 11, 2013 Clear 33 cl bottle 5% bought at supermarket in Pärnu, and brought thousand miles up north to RateMeetWRune/FuneralFeast4TromsoIL 2013-nov-10th. White head, pale body, and sweet malts to the nose, faint hops. Tastes sweet malts, some fruits, assumed yellow apples, then grains. Grainy fruity on palate. Ends with grain, malts, leather.

33cl bottle. Have been drinking this beer at least once a year for the last 10 years. Smooth, soft, gentle, mildly hoppy pale lager. Easy going and not pretentious. Not a disappointment. Avoid 50cl bottles - they get warm to fast, and become not drinkable.

0.33L bottle. Light hop aroma. Watery hop drink. Very good in hot summer on the beach. Ofcourse it must be ice cold. Very easy to drink.

Unbelievably bad, corn-based aroma, the beer does finish smoothly, with less [though certainly not "none"!] of the lingering aftertaste of Saku’s other PLs. Inoffensiveness raises it to a 1.8, but the idea is offensive enough! (Rimi Kriistine)

Bottle. Clear white golden color with a thin white head. Aroma of malt and cereal. Malty taste. A typical macro lager.

Canned. Clear golden colour, a finger of frothy white head, that sits down fast. Very intensive carbonation. Mostly malty aroma of white bread and cookies, some citruses. Light, refreshing beer - made to be thirst quencher. Nothing more.
