Pure gold colour, with a normal length white head, that goes away quickly. Aroma is poor, some grass, grains and citrus. Grainy structure, watery texture, light bitterness.

Bottle courtesy of the Indian’s sourcing skills. Pale golden yellow, amazingly served in a real Saku glass, with thin but lasting head. Not too disastrous for a random lager - some sweetness in the malt, but a bit watery in body and finish is a bit cabbagey.

ALLOVATE (2098) - Butler, AUSTRALIA - FEB 23, 2012
Medium gold, thin and bright with very fine carbonation and a lot of it. Inch thick, steadfast head of foam atop laces well. Eggy, sulphury, adjunct riddled nose; there is a soft hint of grain in there but none to save it. Taste and feel of soap and cardboard in the mouth, wishy-washy, foamy with a surprisingly good background and finish of bitter, weedy hops. Finishes clean, a bonus!, bitter, crisp and very short. Light tang, very subtle grainy note, and that about sums it up. Not really a quality beer worthy of being labelled their ’Original’. Next!!? (50cL, BB 01/04/12, Mane Liquor, Belmont)

Nice, regular lager, different taste than the rest of the baltics but similar to Lapin. easy to drink and enjoy with friends.

330ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a 2 finger white head that settles quite quickly leaving only a few specks of lace. Aroma is mild cereal grains and hops. Taste is light malty sweet with a neutral hop bitterness. Adequately carbonated and light to medium body. Just another average lager style brew.

Pours light golden with a frothy head. Aroma slightly hoppy and malts, mostly watery. Very lager-like overall.

Aubrey (3339) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - JAN 3, 2012
Pale golden with a slight haze; thinnish, quickly fading head. Has a bit of body up front, but becomes watery in the finish. Malt flavors are on the sweet side, with notes of honey and sweet corn. Hops are mild, herbal and earthy, with only a mild bitterness level. That bitterness lingers well into the aftertaste, though. Not necessarily what I’d call undrinkable, but I wouldn’t want to drink it again.

Metalchopz (1741) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 14, 2011
Originally rated November 2005. This Estonian lager pours a rich yellow colour with a decent white head. Retention and lacing is lacking. Carbonation is pretty active, slow and medium sized bubbles. The nose is sweet with grain malt, but the taste is not that close (or bad for some). Bitterness, light touch of a pils, is found throughout with some corn (or grain) slowly showing in the aftertaste. Production date on back of label is written: 040805 1023253 011. Not a bad lager, well balanced between a pilsner and a pale lager.

Kita (422) - Koper, SLOVENIA - DEC 6, 2011
Canned, 0.5l. Pours pale yellow colour with medium sized frothy white head and lively carbonation. Malty aroma of fresh bread with notes of grassy hops and some citruses, too. Fresh crispy start, some metallic mouthfeel present, while finish is dry and gentle hoppy. Light to medium bodied with thin texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. Ordinary lager for mass consumption.

Ännu en lager i mängden, svår att urskilja från många andra. Gyllengul, stort vitt skum, doftar gräs och smakar tunt, med viss sötma.
