2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Papillon (280) - Sudbury, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 1, 2010
500 mL Can. Very pale straw body with a frothy white head that settles to a thin foamy layer with some spotty lacing. Aroma of grass, cereal grains and grapefruit peel; there is a very sharp citrusy-grassy tang that I find stings the nose somewhat. Sweet light malts and cereal grains with a note of grassy hops dominate in the flavor and aftertaste. Hops come through in the finish with hints of corn and corn husk but otherwise a clean finish; there is a refreshing character about it. Some good attributes make it not too offensive. A light bodied beer for a summer picnic.

Gold, white fizzy head. Floral corn notes with rotten sweaty feet undercurrents throughout. Flavor was one in the same, yet remarkably had a crisp light hop finish. Light bodied water with medium carbonation. And this was a fresh bottle...

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Frank (1966) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 27, 2010
The Estonian Miller Lite. Very light in both flavor and texture. Some bread dough notes and a hint of metallic bitterness in the finish. Very fizzy but somehow dull across the palate. Drinkable but I think even Estonia has better things to offer.

Pour is a bright yellow with a large fizzy white head. Aroma is not much. Some grain is about it. Flavor is grassy with a metallic aftertaste. Not real good.

Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of short to moderate duration. My expectations where met with an below average beer.
