2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 SaintMatty (2645) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - NOV 18, 2007
Bottle- Sampled in May 2007. Golden in colour with a typical pilsner appearance. Not much aroma detected and certainly not much pepper evident in the smell. The taste is malty with a light hoppiness. At first I wondered where the pepper was but after a couple of sips, the pepper becomes more noticeable with a mild burning sensation in the aftertaste.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 sayravai (4526) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 18, 2007
(Bottled) Clear, pale golden color with a medium, frothy and lacy head. Mild, corny-malty aroma with faint hops. Corny-malty flavor with very little hops and almost no finish. The pepper comes into play only after several sips, but it definitely is there. Light-bodied, smooth-carbonated palate with the sting from the pepper. Tasteless like Sol or Corona, but with some added pepper. Who would enjoy something like that, is beyond me...

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20 Tranquillity (1314) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 16, 2006
This is a beer which supposebly has pepper in it. Unfortunately, it tastes nothing but piss-lager. The problem is that it, together with A.Le Coq Cuba, tastes much worst than most other Estonian lagers! The beer is pale yellow and pours with a 2cm head which quickly disappears. The aroma is quite yeasty, but not the worst I’ve smelled. The beer tastes absolutely nothing, which is why it deserves 2 points instead of 1. It is quite foamy though. It is worth trying ONLY for the fact that it has the word "pepper" in the name.
