2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Kavu (933) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JUN 11, 2010
Your basic cheap lager. Pours yellow with a medium head, practically no aroma at all and very little flavor too. Drinkable on a hot day or if you just want to get drunk, but not a beer for beer enthusiasts.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 yngwie (8716) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 22, 2010
Can, from trade with SaintMatty. It pours a clear, golden body under a dense, two-finger white head, cute lacings. Grainy, grassy nose that is pretty straightforward and boring. A bit sweet, with grains and grassy hops. Some bitterness, could use more. Decent bitterness in the medium lenght finish. A decent beer that could go down if it was the only choice. 100522
1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 daknole (5474) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - MAY 5, 2010
Light yellow with a foamy white head. Lemons and new clothes smell. Flavor is so light that its hardly worth saying anything bad about. But I will anyway. This shit is pretty bad. Old hops and spent malt...lots of water. Why bother? Just buy some damn countrytime lemonade and drink that.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 EithCubes (3050) - GERMANY - APR 25, 2010
Bottle. Very sweet grassy nose with a hint of corn. Super clear pale yellow-golden pour with a very large and rocky beige head. Taste is bittersweet, a little grass, no metal or funk or really terrible off-flavors. More than a little dirty, though. Aftertaste is long and mildly bitter. Light-medium body, crisp but soft. Alcohol is under control. Relatively neutral overall with malt graininess. Honestly, if this is what a good Estonian Pale Lager is, then Estonians shouldn’t shame - I’ve had far, far worse in parts of Europe with more established brewing traditions. One thumb up!

Rock! How can you pass a beer like this up? It is from Estonia and obviously awesome. Straw golden in color w/ a foamy white head. Grainy malts dominate the nose along w/ a bit of nuttiness and a hop character approaching skunkiness though not quite there. Flavor is a muddle of plain sweetness and a somewhat earthy metallic hop bitterness. Heavy carbonation creates a feeling of thinness on the palate. According to the label this is a beer that expresses your independence and self-confidence and your positive rebellion against everyday routine. Fuck yeah! I am gonna throw this Rock through the window of the Governor’s mansion. That is probably the best use for it.
