hotstuff (3340) - Indiana, USA - APR 3, 2012
Bottle purchased at Siciliano’s Market in Grand Rapids, MI in December, 2011 and rated on 4-02-2012. Poured a small white head that mostly diminished, one ring of lacing, transparent body, fizzy, fast-rising carbonation, and a bright yellow hue. The Aroma and Flavor were malty and sharp. The Mouthfeel was slightly tingly and this is a medium bodied Pale Lager. Overall, there was no character to this beer and it was very boring and bland.

Kita (422) - Koper, SLOVENIA - MAR 24, 2012
On tap, 0.5l. Clear golden colour with medium creamy white head. Pleasant malty aroma with light floral and grassy notes. Surprisingly similar taste to wheat bear, a bit hoppy and lasting aftertaste. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Very good one for pale lager.

Pours a slightly chalky pale gold with a fizzy white head. Nose and taste are a bit sweet, light malt, with a bit of cleanser on the finish. In with the brats it goes. Not worth finishing but should cook up just fine

This is much better than what I expected from a pale lager and well worth the $1.99 price. 50cl bottle from my grocery store pours an almost clear golden color with large persistent white head.. Smells bready/grainy. Aroma is a bit grassy but lacks the fermented corn and apples I find in most pale lagers. If I were blindfolded, I would have mistaken this for a German Weissbier. Body is light but not watery. Carbonation is average or less. Most importantly, this is very drinkable with no foul aftertaste. Not great, but I’ll definitely try this one again.
