50cl 2 months old. Pale golden pour with frothy head at first, and 5mm thick thicker head thereafter. Aroma of hay and soap water ( I have rinsed and polished my glass before, so soap contamination is eliminated). More sweet than hoppy. Reminds me of baltic brown bread "Tallinn". Light body, thin and oily after 5 minutes, when carbonation exhausts itself. Fizzy for only several minutes. Short "bready" finish. I go for Rock every 3 months (last 13 years ;-) ), and for some time all packaging forms were just rubbish. This fresh bottle reminds me of good Rock from many years ago. It is drinkable while cold and fizzy ( true for all pale lagers). Bottled 03.01.2013 - that is a good batch. Hope Saku can keep it like that.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a typically carbonated hazy yellow colored body. The aroma was citrus and musty. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The deep flavor contained notes of mild crisp hops and malt. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

0.5L bottle. Cool beer aroma. Pleasant hops and blind/mute yeast. Abit of raw, but pleeasant. On taste is raw yeast first and after that mild hops, little woody and, while mild and slightly sweet. After casting is nice fat foam. Nice beer. On can is this beer much better taste.

Pale golden with white, low lasting head. Hay’ish malt and bitter aroma. Taste the same with a herbal, minty element. Thin body, medium carbonation, some corn-like sweetness. Better than feared.

50cl can from Tallinn Airport. Pours pale golden with a minimal white head. Very light malty aroma with hints of cooked vegetables, grain, sugar and green apples. Sweet and lightly malty with a slightly dry finish with some bitterness. Ten years ago this was my favourite Estonian beer, and it’s still a preferred choice over the regular Saku, but now I know there is much better beer available in Estonia too.
