Mostly a disappointment. Watery brew, that is a same brew as Manchester. Just stay away from it, and you might help to eliminate it from the market. Thx.

(Bottle, 0.5 l, 20131125) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head wasmedium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had sweetness, toasted malts and metallicness. Palate was quite light and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, burntness, caramel, metallicness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, burnt and bitter. Too burnt brew.

500ml bottle, shared by djoeye. Deep, dark brown coloured body. Bubbly, fawn-coloured head that stayed for quite a white. Brown malty nose. Spiced malty taste with a little touch of chocolate, lightly jam-like. Fruity hints to a sweet malty ending. Mid-soft mouthfeel. Accepted (Tromsø 10.11.2013).

djoeye (1230) - Tromsø, NORWAY - NOV 10, 2013
Bottle from MaximaXXX in Pärnu Estonia. Head’s toffee light brown coloured, and stands a while. Dark ruby clear body. Scents spicy malty. Taste sweet malts, jam, little roasted sweet malt, chocolate. Palate ok, but too low carbonation. Ends surprisingly mild, some rye bread, mild ending. Overall more like just a dark beer than some irish recipe. RateMeetWRune/FuneralFeast4TromsoIL-2

Moebbels (279) - FINLAND - SEP 30, 2013
Pours a very dark brown with a short-lived tan head. Nose has aromas of vanilla, orange and white chocolate. Taste is sweet and mellow with the shortest dry finish. Carbonation is soft and palate somewhat thin. Overall this is not bad, but it would benefit from a higher alcohol content and some roastiness.
