1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
50 bottle from Rimi Hüpermarket, Tallinn. Pours very pale yellow (fairly hazy if the sediments are poured in). Not much head to speak of neither much aroma.
Lightly fruity with hints of yeast. Sweet, watery and pretty flavourless. Drinkable, but boring.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
500ml bottle (Solaris, Tallinn)
OMFG, this is the most horrifically pale beer I’ve seen, it’s offensive to my eye. A little bit of a haze, but the head’s very brief. Sweetish, possibly citrussy, aroma, weak and watery. Retronasals are the same citrussy sweet nonsense, but it again comes over as very watery. Crisp palate, watery, super watery. Very neutral, and clean, and not corny unlike some cheaper pale adjunct lagers. Sweeter, a little bit fuller, and less crisp, than a typical filtered lager, being unfiltered has made quite a difference. I think this is a fairly accurately created immitation of an eastern, warm climate, unfiltered rice-lager. As such, the brewer has actually done a pretty good job. However, he’s created a beer style I really don’t like, hence the very low numbers. Overall, I have to give him some credit though for chosing an unusual target, hitting it square on, and doing it without any brewing flaws. Very clean - certainly uncontaminated by anything pretending to flavour.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle. Clear pale straw color with a minimal head. Sugary aroma of cheap rice beer. Watery. Taste of sweet, malty tap water with some grain. Not disgusting though.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bizarre soapy watery alkaline-forward tasting PL. Not terribly bad--it does go easy on the dryness and the hoppiness, which *is* a good thing in my book--but its unorthodoxy and fork-tine metal aftertaste make this, like so many other Saku beers except Le Mans and Koduõlu, best avoided

1.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
500ml bottle. Label clearly says unfiltered, but this is as clear as any pale lager can be. It’s almost white! Thou I have to admit there is some unknown shit stuck inside the bottle. And it looks disgusting. Aroma is sweet, chemicals, papery. Taste is like flavored water. As thirstyrabbit said above- this is leftover from Le Mans watered down. Disgrace.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. Light yellow body, small head. Sweet aroma with some grassy bubblegum. The aroma reminds me of witbiers. It’s like they used some leftover ingredients from the previous city beer Le Mans. Sweet taste with overripe melons and some shampoo. Thin and unrefreshing candy juice finish with some herbal dryness. Umm.. how is a rice lager supposed to be an interesting addition to the range of "world beers"?

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pale yellow hazy color, small white head. Aroma of malt, wheat, citrus and grain. Taste is dry sweet with lightly bitter finish. Watery body and fizzy carbonation. OK with food, refreshing.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
If it is meant to be Japanese - it should be more dry. Yes, Saku managed to make a beer, with a faint whiff of hops, but that does not mean that this is something similar to Japanese beer. Again, it tastes like heavily diluted Saku LeMans. But that is not bad at all - if you hate hops and bitterness in your beer - vote for Saku Tokyo. Simple, unpretentious, pale lager.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pale yellow, fizzy medium white head that quickly disappears, leaving some diminishing residue. Papery-rubbery tones, grain, weak slightly sweet fruity hints. Taste is grain, slight sourness; middle of the taste is pretty empty, finish has some hops, lemony aftertaste. Thin body, lively carbonation, watery palate.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
0.5L bottle. Lemon juice appearance. Fruity, wheat aroma. Little watery chemical fruit caramel, wheat, boiled egg water flavors. Watery end with little yeast.
