3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
"Roasted caramel", toast, cereal, very strong, almost like soy sauce and rum raisins, banana too. That’s quite much it, it’s just so strong aroma. Taste is perhaps little too liqueurish, sweet and a bit sour too... some bitterness too. But they are nothing compared to the strong aroma, which isn’t nothing "special", it’s just a good "average" sweet malt. But it reminds me of Vana Tallinn liqueur and sweet and roasted rum.
But it is so strong aroma and sweetness, that it is rather difficult to drink it.

Bottle brought back by Jill from Estonia. Thanks! Ruby ale with a tan head. Quite a sweet beer with notes of fruit, toffee and pear drop. Quite nice.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
(bottle - 500 ml) Brown pour. Overly sweet and malty sugar aroma. Flavor is very sweet and malty as well. Too sweet really. I think that if it wasn’t as sweet it’d be better.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Reddish brown color. Super sweet malty aroma. A bit too sweet for me. Malt and caramel in big amounts were overwhelming. I just couldn’t get past the sweetness.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
50cl bottle pours with a dark amber body that supports a forty second light mocha colored head. The aroma offers up brown sugar, caramel and then other burnt sugars mixed with prunes and date fruitiness. The taste is sweet with brown sugar, molasses and caramel malts mixed with sweet prunes and date fruitiness. Sweet tasting brew.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tight smooth 2-finger tan head with yellowish tones. Deep ruby clear body. Beautiful.
Roasted sweet malts to the nose, hints of berries and apples.
Roasted caramel malts to the tongue, dark syrup, some bitter, some yeast, some fermented prunes.
Tasty well bodied to palate, normal carbonation for the style.
Fruity finish with dominating malts, and still some fruits.
Very fruity caramellish for a bock to be, but may suit same occasions.

Got it for $2.50 so I had low expectations. It easily exceeded them - the burnt sugar flavor works. The Aftertaste isn’t great though.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkelbraunes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Malz, Karamell, rote Früchte. Geschmack süß röstmalzig, rote Früchte, leicht würzig.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
50cl bottle / 33cl can. This beer been produced for ages. I had its high and lows, and at the moment, brew from September 2013 are being sold, and this brew is a good one. Matly, with loads of caramel and a pleasant mixture of yeast and hopps on the nose. Pours clear dark brown, kind of a ripe cheery. You can call it dark red even. Head is thick and brown, but goes rather quickly. Body varies with this beer from batch to batch. This time it is medium bodied dunkler bock. But I also seen in more thicker. If you like dark beer, especially dark lager - this is one worth to try when you visit Estonia. Second best from Saku on my list (First being Saku Porter, Third, probably, Saku Hele).

50 cl bottle, 160900 11593540 101EST Rating from somewhere before 2007
Das Bier im Glas ist dunkelbraun-rötlich. Recht süßes Bier, viele Fruchtaromen, brauner Zucker, Karamell. Leicht getreidig. Der Nachgeschmack ist klebrig-süßlich, malzig-getreidig und leicht herb. Spannend.
