50cl bottle at Daily Special at Stockmann, Tallinn. Pours dark amber with an off-white to beige head. Aroma of caramel and malt with some roastiness and hints of dried fruits. Sweet and malty with a pleasant bitterness and some roasty notes. (2012-11-17)

500 mL bottle. Appearance is a ruby/brown mixture in color with minimal off white head that quickly fades. Aroma is slightly fruity with hints of caramel. Flavor is again a mixture of caramel and fruit, but also contains a distinct off flavor that doesn’t kill the beer, but definitely takes away from it.

Foamy, strong and very sweet. Propably added melasses or other cheap sweetener, but still it’s A great beer. Roasty - on the other hand home made "kvas", on the other hand close to quality sweet chezh dark. Great job Saku. And yes, you feel afterwards you have drunk something. (Must have over 6,7%. I bet for 9-10%. :)

0,5 pullo@ Saku Areena. Kirkas tumman punertavan ruskea. Tuoksu mitään sanomaton. Maussa päälle iskee rauta, muutoin maistuu alkoholi & vieno paahteisuus.

Pours a dark amber color, topped with average tan colored head. Sweet malty aroma is easily picked up. There are also some fruit notes present. The taste is malty and sweet, some caramel added in the end. Small bitterness. OK, but nothing special.

Bottle brought back by Jill from Estonia. Thanks! Ruby ale with a tan head. Quite a sweet beer with notes of fruit, toffee and pear drop. Quite nice.

(bottle - 500 ml) Brown pour. Overly sweet and malty sugar aroma. Flavor is very sweet and malty as well. Too sweet really. I think that if it wasn’t as sweet it’d be better.

Bottle. Reddish brown color. Super sweet malty aroma. A bit too sweet for me. Malt and caramel in big amounts were overwhelming. I just couldn’t get past the sweetness.

50cl bottle pours with a dark amber body that supports a forty second light mocha colored head. The aroma offers up brown sugar, caramel and then other burnt sugars mixed with prunes and date fruitiness. The taste is sweet with brown sugar, molasses and caramel malts mixed with sweet prunes and date fruitiness. Sweet tasting brew.

Tight smooth 2-finger tan head with yellowish tones. Deep ruby clear body. Beautiful. Few lacings. Roasted sweet malts to the nose, hints of berries and apples. Roasted caramel malts to the tongue, dark syrup, some bitter, some yeast, some fermented prunes. Tasty well bodied to palate, normal carbonation for the style. Fruity finish with dominating malts, and still some fruits. Very fruity caramellish for a bock to be, but may suit same occasions. Brown 50cl btl abv6.7% b@Kilpishalli (Alko Muonio 3,47€).
