 Joeh (1892), Buckinghamshire, England
May 28, 2004 Cask Conditoned, White Horse, Hedgerley. Beer Festival Day 1 of 4, beer 6. Dark orange bitter, no head. A little roasted coffee, slightly burnt, average hops. Darker than other Salamander beers, and suffers because of that. This isn’t in the easy drinking golden ale style that makes other beers from this brewer so popular. Still very good though.
