Cask Conditioned at Banbury Beer Festival Fri 21-04-06. Amber beer that gave a malty aroma and some malt in the taste with hops. This was absolutely fine but didn’t really stand out.

Hoppy and bitter on the palate. Malt present in the finish.

Clear amber in appearance. Aromas are peppery pine and spice. Flavours follow the aromas spicy hops, along with fruity malts, pears and a fruity twang on the finish. Mild and dry. OK.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MartinKubert (862) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 29, 2004
A bit thin, but very bitter. Fresh brew with a nice hoppiness. Nothing exceptional about this one.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 pivo (2540) - GERMANY - SEP 6, 2003
GBBF 2003, cask: One of the better British beers I've had at the festival. Starts with a fairly substantial fresh hop nose with a little dust character. Light gold color. Has a split taste profile: first a light sweet maltiness that comes and goes very quickly. Then, a wave of hoppy bitterness with mutiple hop tastes. Grassy bitterness like arugula lettuce at the very end. Decent.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 YogiBeera (2435) - Hamburg, GERMANY - AUG 11, 2003
GBBF 2003 - cask: koriander, nice grassy aroma. Orange color, no head. Bitter but short, kind of unbalanced. Watery - say also bitter salad finish.

(Cask)Ochre-amber, clear; 2cm white foam, stable. Hoppy nose, British style, a bit dusty, vaguely caramel malt. Bitter; nice balance but the hops were not very noble. Light bodied but not thinnish. Nice, worth developping (that's more to the brewer than to the punter...).
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 imdownthepub (8547) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 10, 2003
Cask Conditioned at GBBF 03. A golden orange beer with minimal head. Crisp maltiness shows through initially with a cereal tone, followed by a hoppy fruity dry aftertaste.
