Bottle from my European secret santa 2013. Pours murky brown with a huge frothy off-white head. Aroma is light sour brown malts, maybe a minor infection? Taste is moderate sweet dark roasted caramel, smooth mouthfeel, nothing wrong with this one, easy dry hops at the finish.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with a small head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel and toasted bread. Taste - sweetish with caramel and malty notes, hints of hops, mild bitterness, dry finish. Medium-bodied, low carbonation, smooth in mouth, easy drinking brew. Decent beer.

kerenmk (2199) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - OCT 3, 2012
Draught at the brewpub. Clear reddish colour with a big white head. Grainy, sugar, sweet raisins aroma. Tastes bitter and sour, but in a bad way. Light body, soft carbonation, short finish. Infected.

It stinks and it’s awfully bitter. Zero palate, way too much ABV for Stout. Horribly ugly amount of untasty foam. Awful, bizzare beer.

Oakes (12234) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 8, 2011
Draught at the brewpub. Dark brown and cloudy. Thin head. Earthy and slightly caramelly aroma. The aroma implies to me a relatively big bitter, but the soft and smooth character is more easy-drinking than that. Caramel notes and a light leafy hop note, decent and strongish.

zvikar (3370) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - FEB 28, 2011
Draught at Libira Pub, deep red with a thick light orange head, aroma of tangerine, loquat, guava, citrus and malt, flavor is bitter with nice citrusy notes, some mushrooms and some cardboard dryness, medium bodied.

tomer (1647) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - FEB 27, 2011
Draught, medium stable head, clear dark copper colour, floral aroma - orange blossom and rose petals, with touches of malt and nuts, flavour of caramel and brown sugar, a little heavy but still quite nice.

Draught samples at the brewpub in Ginnegar. 5.3%. Slightly hazy deep golden to amber color. Aroma with malt, a bit of fruitiness and hints of caramel. Sweetish flavor of malt, some bread, biscuits and a mildly bitter and slightly earthy hoppy finish. Medium-bodied. 5/3/6/3/11=2.8
Cascade dry-hopped version: Hazy amber color. Floral hoppy aroma with earth and fruits. Flavor starts sweetish and continues with fresh hops and mild bitterness. Medium-bodied. Nice and refreshing. 6/4/7/3/13=3.3
