150 ml tasting glass from the draft at De Beurs during Happen en Stappen met een bier in Hoogeveen.. Appearance: Light yellow body with a good sized white head, soapy, with good retention. Head leaves light lacing.behind.. Aroma of yeast, some wheat, lemon, grains, citrus zest and candy sugar Taste:Moderate sweet , floral, yeast, light citrus, wet grains, some hops, good bitterness on the finish and the aftertaste, but there are some odd candy sugar tones. . Medium thin body, soft carbonation. Served at de Beurs with some ice pulled pork dish, which fit nicely. I had the idea that this draft version was much better as a bottled version I had years ago. A lot of folks liked this one as it’s a public friendley brew.

Helder lichtgoud, mooie witte kraag. Aroma is vreemd zoet, granig en weeïg, niet aangenaam. Smaak ook niet. Bah.

Bottle at Brasserie Jansen. Fresh pilsner malt aroma with some hay and green apple and spicy noble hops (closer to Hallertauer than Saaz). Clear dark gold under a lacy, pristine, persistent cover. Flavour is a blend of spicy, noble hops and pilsner malt that begins sweet, but develops an almost assertive bitterness. The sweet malt blends with a sort of oniony lager flavour that is somewhat unpleasant. Medium body, smooth, moderate carbonation.

Bottle 30cl. Slightly hazy golden color, good frothy white head, reduces slowly to 5 mm layer, good lacing; fresh wheaty and fruity nose, yeasty, dough, grass, floral, pineapple, citrus; taste at first light sweet followed by light bitterness; medium body, creamy/buttery texture, soft carbonation; mild sweetbitter finish, fruity notes. Could use a bit more body but apart from that a nice refreshing beer.

Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of malts, grass, slightly fruity. Some sweetness in the flavour, with a pretty bitter aftertaste. Decent enough beer, but not very exciting.
